Our Client is a world's leading sports and live entertainment industry is looking for a competent Accounts Executive on a 3 months contract.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform accounting & finance duties including receivables and payables processes and bank reconciliation
• Creation of Tours’ invoices
• Coordinate the preparation and reconciliation of the financial and management reports for the different tours
• Process banking transactions;
• Manage timely closing process and reconciliations, including for intercompany transactions, aging of AR;
• Support the operational teams in maintaining strong customer and vendor relationships.
• To ensure expense claims are made timely and accurately with proper supporting.
• To ensure appropriate operating expenses approval procedure which in line with compliance;
• Maintain effective communication with other departments and external parties;

Requirements

Diploma in Accounting & Finance or equivalent;

At least 3 years of experience in accounting & finance;

Strong understanding of accounting principles;

Ability to work in a dynamic environment;

Ability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency

• Assist in month-end and year-end closing of accounts for Management reporting
• Perform data entry, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions to ensure finances are maintained in an effective, accurate and up to date manner
• Process and prepare invoices and statement of accounts for billings
• Process and prepare payments to suppliers, third parties and staff claims
• Perform sales and bank reconciliation
• Maintain fixed assets register/balance sheet and profit & loss items and audit schedule
• Posting of month end journal entries and General Ledger account maintenance
• Prepare monthly financial statements, cash flow report & management report on timely basis
• Assist in monthly stock take at outlets
• Assist in quarterly GST reporting
• Support in the coordination of internal and external financial audits
• Support any ad-hoc assignments
• Assist and report to Finance Manager and Finance Director

• Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate/NiTEC in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel) is a must
• Proficient in MYOB accounting software
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience, preferably in F&B industry
• Positive and proactive
• Independent and willing to put in extra effort and time to complete the task schedule
• Good team player
• Meticulous and able to multi-task and work under tight timelines

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Execute procurement duties such as raising Purchase Requisition (PR) and Purchase Order (PO) associated to equipment, goods and service.
• Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
• Create purchase requisition & order using the Navision system
• Interact with suppliers on a daily basis to ensure orders are delivered same day/next day as needed. Keeps records for all orders processed and obtains confirmation from vendors.
• Works with Finance department to research/resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Perform quality checks on stored inventory and perform stock take and flag any discrepancies based on the company’s standards.
• Practicing and enforcing the company's procurement policies and procedures.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum GCE “O” level or Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or equivalent work experience.
• Fresh graduate is welcome
• Good working knowledge of purchasing strategies
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Navision system
• Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
• Working experience in Food & Beverage will be advantage
