The Singapore Shipping Association (SSA) is a prominent trade association representing over 500 companies in the maritime industry, ranging from ship owners, operators, and managers to ancillary services such as shipbrokers, maritime lawyers, and insurers. Founded in 1985, SSA plays a pivotal role in supporting the competitiveness of Singapore as a global maritime hub. SSA is seeking a dedicated Talent Development Executive to join our team.
Role Overview:
The Talent Development Executive embodies unwavering dedication to crafting effective training programs, fostering a learning culture, and nurturing talent for the industry through the Young Executive Committee. His/her adaptability, mentorship, and commitment are needed to drive growth, aligning with the association success as one of the industry training providers.
Key Responsibilities:
· Training Development: You will be responsible to assist the Technical Director in designing and developing training programs that align with our association's goals and objectives. This includes creating engaging and effective training materials, modules, and resources.
· Training Management: As a Training Executive, you will organise training sessions for members and non-members at various levels within the company. You will ensure that training is interactive, informative, and results oriented. This includes being proactive to suggesting improvements / revisions to training course contents.
· Evaluation and Feedback: You will assess training effectiveness through various evaluation methods and gather feedback from trainees to continuously improve our training programs. This includes being proactive in translating gathered suggestions from trainers/class attendees on where SSA can improve on the training curriculum and programs.
· Mentorship: You will provide guidance and support to members, assisting them in their professional development.
· Training Marketing: You will collaborate with the Training Officer to promote existing and new courses, ensuring effective marketing strategies are implemented. Additionally, you will provide essential administrative and follow-up support to ensure the success of training programs.
· Compliance: Ensure that all training programs are compliant with the association policies, industry regulations, and best practices.
· Documentation: Maintain accurate records of training sessions, attendance, and evaluation results.

Requirements:
· Education:Diploma in Business Administration or A-Level or equivalentqualifications required. Fresh graduates may apply
· Experience:Relevantexperience will be an advantage
· Customer-Centric:Good interpersonal skills with the ability to manage members.
· Technical Skills:Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
· Citizenship: Must be a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident
