Roles & Responsibilities

• Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Provide required documentation and assistance during both internal and external audits.
• Handle GST filings and submission.
• Perform any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3-year relevant working experience in accounting or finance (Retail industry)
• Familiar with quick book
• Capable of work independently and managing task with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

• Adecco is partnering with a leading bank to look for a KYC Officer with at least 3 - 5 years experience in banking or financial industry

To lead, manage and provide effective guidance to team member and Front Office in their work processes and submissions, in terms of new client account on-boarding. The role requires the candidate to be able to face off Front Office relating to client documentation and/or KYC related matters. Candidate should ensure that the team meets the expectation of the bank policy for BAU and ensure that the targeted timeline is met. In addition, he/she will be required to liaise with the local AML officers concerning business-view on specific AML/KYC related topics.

In his/her function as a Documentation/KYC Expert, the candidate should be able to handle the daily BAU responsibilities on top of monitoring team performance and reporting on metrics. It involves close collaboration with AML, Compliance, ORM, Front Office and Legal.

Responsibilities/Tasks:

• Responsible for ensuring timely, complete and accurate processing of account opening (including performing all relevant controls) for individual and corporate accounts, KYC reviews and timely escalation/reporting of any discrepancies.
• Review all account opening and other supporting documents required for individual and KYC information updated in the system
• Provide expert advice on documentation to Client Advisors on complex account structures
• Perform name searches in the bank approved search engines
• Liaise with KYC / AML team / COO office as appropriate for the account setup
• Monitor document deficiencies as per bank control procedures
• Training of Front office staff on legal documents and KYC related subjects
• Ensure the escalation of operational, regulatory and other risks to line manager and functional leads as appropriate; contributes to the development and implementation of mitigation or control solutions
• To enhance Client risk assessments and various MIS reports for management reporting to facilitate review in managing risk and strengthening the control procedures and processes
• To understand and maintain the Bank Global KYC/ AML Standards, Account Documentation procedures, Local Laws and Regulations and implement related control processes
• Escalation of operational, regulatory and other risks to line manager and functional leads as appropriate; contributes to the development and implementation of mitigation or control solutions.
• Involved in design and implementation of strategies to ensure continuous process with the WM COO and Change functions to scope and define change projects to deliver process and performance improvement

Qualifications:

• Diploma / Degree majoring in Banking, Accountancy or Business Administration or related discipline preferred
• Knowledgeable and experienced in operations, account documentation, risk management, Sophisticated AML/KYC knowledge and experience in banking or financial industry for at least 1-3 years
• Good knowledge in Know Your Client procedures
• Ability to develop a good knowledge of the customer base, with sensitivity to specific customer needs.
• Experience in team/stakeholder management preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Contribute to content and event ideas for all types of events from F&B promotions and themed parties to more unique events capturing the passions of our members

· Source decor, props, games, materials etc. required for events

· Support the preparation of decor elements needed for events

· Assist with the set-up, running and breakdown of events

· Manage RSVPs for events and greet members and guests warmly on the day of events

· Ensure highest level of member and guest experience

· Assist team with day-to-day operations and event planning

· Stay up to date with what's happening in Singapore and the region, to ensure we are constantly on the pulse and relevant

· There will be cross training with various departments (Service/Membership) to better understand how teams interface

· From time-to-time support Marcoms team social media and marketing collaterals related to special projects such as large events

· Partnership and sponsorship sourcing for special projects and events as and when required

· Plan and coordinate private events for members and corporate clients

REQUIREMENTS:

· 2+ years’ experience within a similar role is advantageous

· Regular working days are Monday to Friday but must be flexible to work some evenings and weekends based on events (time off in lieu will be provided)
