Job Description

· Compile and analyze financial information to prepare financial statements, post Journal and Bank Entries, calculate depreciation of Fixed Assets and perform monthly reconciliation

· Maintain and create new customers, suppliers and general ledger accounts in accounting system.

· Verify accuracy of AP payment, claims and petty cash reimbursements and revenues.

· Monitor and prepare to deposit cash and cheques received from outlets and customers into bank.

· Maintain accounting files and records.

· Prepare and compute GST tax quarterly for submission to tax authority.

· Prepare the audit schedule and coordinate the audit process.

· Liaise with customers, suppliers and institutions for payment matters and external auditor during year-end audit.

· Provide assistance to all departments for supplier and invoice inquiries.

· Assist the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures.

Job Requirements

· Advanced Diploma in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.

· 2 – 3 years of work experience in Accounting & Finance

· Required Skill(s): Full set accounting, audit background, knowledge in SAP Business One

· Analytical and hands-on team player

· Meticulous, accurate, trustworthy and able to work independently.

Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, negotiate and arrange for signing of Non-Disclosure Agreement for all new partners and Letter of Confirmation or equivalent where required.
• Work closely with Claims & Risk team on Master Service Agreements and Third-Party Administration Service Agreements for Claims Management services
• Prepare Terms of Business Agreements with Reinsurers, Brokers, etc.
• Draft and review Addendum to agreements in accordance with the commercial terms agreed by the parties.
• Prepare forms required by Reinsurer for every new deal
• Coordinate with Reinsurer for legal due diligence confirmation
• Review signed agreements for circulation to the relevant stakeholders
• Administer and maintain records of legal documents
• Conduct ad-hoc simple legal research where required

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Law, Legal Studies or related field
• 1 to 2 years of relevant working experience in similar role, preferably in reinsurance or insurance sector
• Knowledge of contract administration
• Excellent written communication skills with attention to details
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment
• Team player with good Interpersonal and communication skills
• Highly ethical, discreet, and able to maintain confidentiality

Requirements:

• Training provided
• Diploma in accountancy (with or without experience) / Degree in Accounting / Ongoing ACCA / ACCA graduates / LCCI Higher
• Experience with Accounting Software as advantage

General Administration & Payroll Management

• Typing of Letter of Appointment and other personnel letters for assigned projects/divisions.

• Maintain complete and updated employee records relating to remuneration.

• Ensure accuracy of HR data for monthly payroll processing.

• Perform bi-monthly payroll processing for assigned projects/divisions.

• Support a full spectrum of payroll function including bonus, ad-hoc pay and other allowances on a monthly basis.

• Process staff claims, IR8A and other tax related filings.

• Maintain proper filing and documentation of all relevant documents (payroll advice, reports and correspondences) pertaining to payroll.

• Handle and resolve queries on payroll matters.

Requirements

• Diploma in Human Resource Management, Administrative or similar.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in related functions.

• Good communication skills (written and oral).

• Pro-active manner, willing to offer new suggestions and share.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office/Excel with an eye for details.
