• To review all Authority's and Contractor's drawings
• To provide all relevant endorsements required by the relevant authorities
• Supervise all civil, structural and geotechnical building works, both permanent and temporary
• To ensure that contractor had obtained all necessary permits and clearance to work
• To conduct site inspection and ensure that contractor(s) implement corrective actions and timely preventive/mitigation measures to protect surrounding structures
• Coordinate the contractor, AC, QP(D), and relevant agencies, including interfacing contractors and consultants etc for the works
• To review, evaluate and assess all formwork structures, formwork support systems etc
• To review and supervise safety, environmental and health matters
• To supervise the installation of instrumentation
• To supervise sanitary and plumbing installations, pump drainage works etc
• To review, evaluate and assess the monitoring of instrumentation and interpretation of the results and provide analytical results/presentations
• To review the Contractor's design and supervise all works

Criteria:

- Min 3 years of experience in Cut & Cover tunnelling or supervision of installation of monitoring instruments, collation of monitoring data and use of software for the presentation of monitoring data for analysis and interpretation.

- Diploma in Civil and Structural Engineering

- Possess a valid RTO cert by JAC of IES/ACES as QSS Singapore

Responsibilities

• To perform all roles and responsibilities required of site supervisors under the Building Control Act.
• To supervise the timely execution of the works and maintain quality control and ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with the contract specifications, drawings, allocated timeframe, all other contract documents, and site instructions.
• To check all drawings and specifications to ensure that works are carried out in accordance with the approved plans for discrepancies and report to the Superintending Officer / Consultant / Qualified Person as stated below:
• Check shop drawings submitted by contractor.
• Check as-built drawings and Operation & Maintenance Manual submitted by contractor.
• To check on quality of materials and samples delivered to site and report to Superintending Officer / Consultant / Qualified Person on any materials that are not conforming to the specifications.
• To check mock-ups done on site, where necessary.
• To ensure that the required construction tests in connection with the construction works are carried out where necessary.

Qualifications

• Possess Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Registered Resident Technical Officer with IES / ACES.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as RTO in supervision of works similar in nature to major construction works in buildings, civil, HDB carpark.

• Diploma in Business Administration, Business Studies or equivalent

• Prior experience in learning and development is an advantage • Proficient in Microsoft Excel

RESPONSIBILITIES

• The role involves planning, coordinating, and implementing standards development projects under the national standardization programme administered by Enterprise Singapore.
• Provide secretariat support to the Technical Committees and Working Groups. This includes preparation of agendas, meeting minutes, report compilation, drafting of standards, etc.
• Engage and coordinate with the industry, academia, and government organizations to facilitate the development, promotion, and review of Singapore Standards and Technical References.
• Organizing key standard launches events and other outreach events.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify, develop, and launch new standards. This includes conducting consultations and ensuring that standards are aligned with industry needs.
• Assist in the industry and technical research for the development of new/review of standards. Conduct verification studies to identify users of the standards.
• Handle inquiries regarding standards in your area of responsibility, ensuring prompt and accurate responses to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma qualification in quality and safety / Fresh graduate are welcome to apply

OVERALL JOB PURPOSE

Primarily responsible for accounting activities independently up to finalization of accounts and audit.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• In charge of the full spectrum of Accounts Payables and General Ledger function assigned
• Liaison work with vendors, internal and external auditors, banks and regulatory agencies
• Handle the entire F&B accounting activities independently up to finalization of accounts and audit
• Ensure all payments to suppliers, staff, and other external parties are made according to company policies and procedure
• Analyze revenue and expenditure trends and recommend appropriate budget levels, and ensure expenditure control
• Assist in budgeting and forecast annual profit, capital, cash and other short-term plans.
• Ensure that accurate bookkeeping is administered, and that revenue and costs are booked in the correct time period.
• Update and maintain product list
• Verify and review accuracy of material, product and inventory cost
• Handle the fixed asset register, including sighting and reconciliation with system
• Liaise with tax agent and prepare quarterly and yearly tax computation
• Prepare audit schedule and liaise with external auditor on audit matters
• Assist implementation of policies and procedures within the Finance department
• Implement Process Improvement and Internal Control.
• Reconciliation of stocks for F&B & Retail Shop
• Analyses the food and beverage cost.
• Assist Finance Manager during month end closing including preparation of general ledger journal and audit schedules

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

• Diploma and above in Accounting or its equivalent
• Chartered Accountant preferred
• At least 5 years’ similar experience in the hospitality/F&B industry
• Cost & inventory control experiences preferred
• Able to work in a team and interact with people at all levels
• Good computer knowledge
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Skills; Working knowledge in Sun Accounting System is an advantage
• Minimum 2 years’ supervision experience preferred
