The Role

This is a good opportunity for an experienced Structural RTO to represent Cundall onsite for one of Singapore projects. This will be a 9-months contract based role commencing in April 2025 with an opportunity for extension if required by project. Location is based in the west of Singapore. The main responsibilities are:

• To coordinate and to supervise the whole construction works of the Contractor on site and to agree on the detailed programme of work.
• To check and ensure that all necessary instructions have been given to the Contractor and authorization from the Head Office has been obtained.

• Position Title: Administrative Officer
• Working Location: Bencoolen
• Working Hours: 5 days (Mon to Fri: 8am – 5pm/9am – 6pm)
• Salary Package: Basic salary $2,500 - $3,500 + Performance Bonus

Key Responsibilities

• Handle walk-ins, telephone and email enquiries.
• Promote centre courses sand provide course consultation to prospective clients.
• Coordinating and facilitating classes for the centre.
• Handle general administrative tasks pertaining to clients and course registration matters.
• Responsible for new enrolment daily.
• Follow up on sales enquiries.
• Communicate with instructors, coordinators and clients on starting classes or change of timing, and any other situation that may arise.
• Take photos of classes for marketing collaterals and helping in creating advertising materials.
• Perform any ad hoc basis as assigned by manager.

The Role

The Boarding Officer (Operations) is a key operational role responsible for overseeing the smooth execution of cargo handling processes, ensuring compliance with client requirements, and maintaining effective communication with ship personnel and relevant stakeholders. This role demands organizational skills, adaptability to work irregular hours, and the ability to manage both on-site operations and paperwork efficiently.

What you’ll be doing:

• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with ship captains, chief engineers, surveyors, and personnel from loading terminals.
• Attend on-site operations to monitor cargo loading and unloading, ensuring all activities align with the client's specifications and standards.
• Oversee vessel arrivals and departures, ensuring timely communication and coordination.
• Handle cargo documentation, including invoices and inwards shipment paperwork.
• Liaise with local agencies to address daily operational matters when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and client specifications.
• Monitor resource utilization and identify opportunities for optimization to enhance operational efficiency.
• Propose workflow improvements and implement solutions to improve operational processes.
• Resolve any problems or challenges that arise during the course of work, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

Job Requirement:

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage both on-site operations and documentation.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders, including ship personnel, surveyors, and agencies.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to propose and implement practical solutions.

• Prepare and process shipping documents.
• Coordinate delivery logistics and arrangements.
• Monitor and manage outstanding deliveries.
• Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience in logistics or a related field.
• Interest in working within the maritime industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint) for Sales/Marketing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
