Bridge and Deck Operations:
-Conduct daily bridge and deck watchkeeping.
-Operate and maintain deck
department equipment and gears.
-Prepare and execute docking plans as
required.
· Safety and Compliance:
-Assist the Master in implementing
and monitoring the Safety
Management System (SMS).
-Ensure adherence to health, safety,
and pollution prevention policies.
-Maintain life-saving and firefighting
equipment to regulatory standards.
· Cargo Operations:
-Planning cargo stowage, loading, and
discharge.
-Supervise and oversee safe cargo
operations to maintain ship stability.
· Resource Management:
-Monitor and control freshwater,
stores, spares, and other resources
onboard.
-Supervise crew training, drills, and
evaluate deck crew performance.
Cargo Operations:
-Planning cargo stowage, loading, and

· Administrative Duties:
-Maintain accurate records including
logbooks, inventories, and
maintenance records.
-Ensure compliance with all regulatory
requirements and company
procedures.
Safety Officer Role:
-Act as the Ship's Safety Officer,
responsible for onboard safety
awareness and practices.
-Promote a safety culture and ensure
the well-being of all personnel
onboard.
Requirements
- COC Class II or I
- Minimum 3 years of experience on board
as Chief Officer on Oil / Chemical Tanker.
- Good leadership, teamwork,
management and communication skills
- Must be willing to follow Company
planned working schedule on board vessel
