• Maintain complete and accurate records of import/export activities for internal audits and external regulatory audits, ensuring transparency and compliance with applicable legal standards.
• Collaborate with various internal departments (e.g., legal, finance, operations) to ensure compliance across the supply chain and effective resolution of any issues related to customs and import/export processes.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience with the Singapore Strategic Goods (Control) Act and U.S. Export Control Regulations (e.g., ITAR, EAR), with a solid understanding of compliance requirements for international trade and technology exports.
• Proven experience in managing export controls, particularly in technology systems or regulated tech industries, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory standards.
• Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders and external regulatory bodies.
• Previous experience in logistics, with a solid understanding of supply chain management and the movement of goods across international borders.

Job Description

• Perform full spectrum of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable duties;
• AP function which includes data entry of supplier invoices, process payments and suppliers reconciliation;
• AR function include data entry of all receipts;
• Maintain petty cash float and reimbursement of staff claims;
• Preparation of monthly bank reconciliations and balance sheet schedules;
• Preparation of audit schedules and liaising with external auditor during annual audit;
• Prepare monthly journal entries for accruals, deferred income, depreciation etc, ensuring all transactions are properly supported with documentation;
• Assist with performing month-end and year-end accounts closing activities;
• Assist walk-in Cash Donation;
• Maintenance of fixed assets register, performance of sighting, asset tagging and updating of fixed assets promptly;
• Coordinate the local cheque and cash bank-in process on weekly or bi-monthly;
• Any other adhoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Accounting & Finance or equivalent;
• At least 3 years of experience in accounting & finance;
• Strong understanding of accounting principles;
• Ability to work independently with high degree of accuracy and efficiency;
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment;
• Must be initiative, multi-tasking, hardworking and meets tight deadlines;
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and words);
• Hand-on experience in cloud accounting systems such as Xero would be an advantage;

• Bilingual in English and Chinese preferred;

• Raise purchase requisitions/CLMS via Coupa system for Procurement and Payments

• Compliance Declaration to CRESA Risk Team
• Liaise with FM Project team for collation, review and final submission of RCSA (half yearly), COI, IPT, GES & KRI (quarterly) reports to CRESA coordinators
