Job Responsibilities

• Handle full set of Import/Transshipment documents.
• Manage day to day operational transaction for client's shipments.
• Transportation - Organize and Coordinate delivery according to client's requirement.
• Liaise with customer as and when necessary, such as documents discrepancy or cargo damaged.
• To troubleshoot problems that might affect operational activities.
• Plan, organize, control all operational activities and to provide customer with good service.
• Any other duties assigned by Management.

Job requirements:

• O / A / Diploma in Logistics/Transportation or equivalent.
• Min with at least 1 year(s) of Sea Freight documentation knowledge.
• Proficient in MS Office / Excel
• Cheerful / Positive character.

MISSION

Ensure that the company's financial obligations to vendors are met accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner, while contributing to the overall financial health and success of the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Accounts Payables:

• Ensure timely and accurate closing of invoice processing
• Process suppliers invoices:
• Review invoices
• Verify invoice authorization o Process all suppliers invoices
• Ensure correct accounting and treatment of GST
• Review and process staff expense claims
• Set-up and maintain supplier accounts
• Analyse and reconcile suppliers accounts and resolve differences
• Deal with suppliers/staff queries and resolve queries promptly

Accounts Receivables

• Process customers invoices (excluding school related activity), collection and follow up of receivables.
• Process and ensure good collection status
• Attend to queries as and when required

Monthly, quarterly and yearly closing

• Ensure accurate and timely closing of Accounts
• Maintain accounts schedules and analysis
• Update monthly management reports and analysis
• Recharge for Exams and Training expenses

ERP Systems

• Contribute to the implementation of the ERP systems and processes to improve thequality of the processes and reporting
• Active participation in ERP projects

Others

• Prepare and assist in annual audit and attending to audit queries
• Assist in audit queries
• Assist in other matters, depending on workload and Finance team resources, as and when required

REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATION

• Good knowledge of general ledger accounting and Procure to Pay process

• Knowledge of Word and Excel application

• Preferably with at least 2 years relevant accounting experience

• Good command English. French language is an added advantage

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Contract Type: Full time permanent contract

• Work Hours: 42 hours per week

• Remuneration: Remuneration based on experience and the IFS salary scale

· Facilitate celebration with stakeholders during festive seasons such as

distributing mandarin oranges during Chinese New Year;

· Organised project events such as office warming party;

· Maintain stakeholder records
