Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the branch's liquidity, ensuring seamless cash flow operations by executing various money market transactions.
• Provide competitive loan and deposit rate quotes to both internal and external counterparties, supporting business requirements and maintaining the branch's market positioning.
• Monitor and analyze financial markets, ensuring compliance with MAS liquidity regulations.
• Foster and maintain strong relationships with money market counterparties, including participating in business trips as needed to enhance these connections and expand the branch's network.
• Conduct Know Your Customer (KYC) due diligence on counterparties to ensure compliance and mitigate potential risks.
• Accurately record transactions (including money markets and investment products) into internal systems, providing support to the investment team.
• Compile various reports, including position, market, and financial reports.
• Undertake other ad-hoc tasks as required.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the banking or financial institution sector, specifically in ALM/Liquidity management.
• In-depth knowledge of financial markets, with a focus on money market products (e.g., Interbank cash trades, Repo, and FX).
• Ability to work independently while being a strong team player, with excellent interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders across the branch, as well as various units or divisions at Head Office.
