Job Purpose

Technical Officer (TO) works in a team to perform preventive and corrective maintenance of railway signaling and communications systems to improve its reliability. TO assists in the preparation of maintenance activities and is technically inclined and adept in handling electronics and computer-based systems and equipment for maintenance.

TO also supervises the works of contractors and external stakeholders to ensure adherence to operating requirements, quality standards and safety standards. Duties & Responsibilities

• Must be able to cook south and North Indian vegetarian and non-vegetarian foods
• Experience in making Prata, Dosai, Chapatti, Pongal,Vadai,Bonda, Nan and Tandoori.
• Singapore / Malaysia experience in making Goring items.
• Maintain quality of food to compliance with SFA and Manage food wastage cost control within the budget.
• Must be able to handle ordering and maintain store stocks.
• Must have food hygiene course certificate to comply with SFA requirements.
• Ability to work for long hours/ weekends/ Public holidays when necessary.
• At least 3 years of working experience as a cook in Singapore/ Malaysia
• Ability to multi-task, including handling the business operations.
• Able to handle kitchen equipments such as Mixer, Grider & Coffe makers.

Reporting to the Outlet Manager, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Operations

• Providing support to Outlet Manager in ensuring the operations team work according to company SOPs and operational workflows.
• Supervise and provide guidance to licensees and cleaning contractors in achieving hygiene and housekeeping excellence according to NEA requirements.
• Be attentive to the maintenance and cleanliness of common areas.
• Perform daily visual checks on surroundings for any irregularities, non-compliances, issues that need to be rectified/ resolved.
• Actively perform checks on stalls to ensure there is no unauthorized increase of food prices within the outlet.
• Conduct irregular float checks on stalls’ cash registers against readings from Point of Sales (POS).
• Perform customer recovery pertaining to customers’/ public’s comments and feedback.
• Effectively communicate customers’/ public’s comments, feedbacks and incidents to relevant departments within duly shift hours.
• Perform daily headcount check on contract cleaners according to the contract agreements.
• Provide administration support to Outlet Manager in reports writings.
• Responsible for ensuring licensees’ daily sales received, are correct and being bank in.
• Ensure cash handling procedures are compiled to at all times.

F&B (subject to coffeeshop outlets)

• Direct and manage retail stalls according to company SOPs and regulatory requirements
• Mentor and supervise service staff on food handling, service conduct, and compliance to standards
• Required to prepare meals such as toast making and hot foods based on the company's SOPs
• Preparation of hot and cold beverages from scratch and premix
• Advice on operational needs and service consistency
• Manage retail/food stalls according to budget with responsibility in creating and executing plans to sustain profitability
• Monitor sales and provide monthly sales reports with recommendations for business reviews with management
• Handle cashiering duties, customers’ complaints and operational issues
• Other work scope as required by business needs

Qualifications & Requirements

• Preferably someone with Diploma in F&B, supply chain or related courses
• Tech Savvy, hands-on with good problem-solving skills relating to food court operations and customer issues
• Ability to foster positive working relationships
