Job Description

• Direct and manage staff in expediting export correspondence, bid requests, and import export matters.
• Arranges shipping details, such as export licenses, customs declarations, packing, shipping, routing of products.
• Keep track of shipments, invoices and prepare reports to expedite process.
• Expedites import-export arrangements and maintains current information on import-export tariffs
• licenses, and restrictions with FTAs application.
• Liaise with 3rd party transporters on import and export cargo logistics and rates.
• LC negotiation and application with banks and documentations.
• Plan and coordinate international shipment of goods.
• Oversees the completion of paperwork and monetary transactions associated with international distribution in a timely manner.
• May negotiate with clients or handle issues with customs officials.
• Liaise with other departments in order to maintain and establish relevant import export, activities and support in relation to the company sales activities, purchasing, materials management, production and organization overall function.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Supply Chain/Logistics or equivalent
• Min least 2 years of experience in the field or in a related area
• Experience in managing and leading a team.
• Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals; Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others.

We are looking for a dynamic team player to join the Strategic Procurement team. He / She is responsible for the global sourcing functions so to meet production demand and customers’ requirements.

Main responsibilities:

• Coordinate regulatory documentation and sample requests – processs and track requests, expedite documents and samples, ensure all requests are fulfilled.
• Prepare assigned administrative duties such as raising QAFs, Sample POs, etc.
• Update assigned Purchasing databases such as ICC new codes.
• Coordinate Sample POs - expedite and ensure prompt deliveries of items.
• Assist in maintaining information for the Global Purchasing Database.
• Assist buyers in projects coordination.
• Assist in office administrative duties such as distribution of incoming mails and parcels.

Job requirements:

• Diploma in Business Administration, GCE ‘A’ Level or years of similar experience.
• 1 to 2 years of relevant working experience in Supply Chain Management
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• SAP experience is an added advantage
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
