Responsibilities

The primary objective of this position is to handle fast track claims for Home Insurance, administrative matters, tasks and reports pertaining to claims, data entry, attend to claimants and claims-related enquiries.

This position is accountable for the following: Claims Service, Claims Quality, Claims Reporting

Claims Service

• Work within local and regional on operating processes and claim handling procedures to ensure that quality claim service is rendered to all customers in accordance with Claims Philosophy.
• Attend to claim enquiries and feedback, maintain positive relationship with all customers, brokers, service providers etc,
• Use external resources in accordance with the guidelines and philosophies. This includes the engagement of appropriate service providers where required and management of such providers and cases towards the timely and effective resolution of the matter.

Claims Quality

• Manage and handle claims to finality within designated Settlement Authority and Claims Management Guidelines, including timely action, appropriate investigation, regular case reviews and proper evaluation are taken in all claims.
• Ensure that loss reserves are set and maintained in accordance with guidelines, timely updates of claims data made into systems and correctness of systems and file records,
• Comply with quality review program guidelines and ensure corrective action is complemented as necessary.
• Complete Reserve Reconciliation and Advocacy reviews in accordance with guidelines.
• Good analytical skills with strong attention to detail, able to monitor work flow, quality and adjust procedures as necessary.

Others

• As required, assist in claims related projects including UAT etc, and other projects/assignments or tasks, as assigned.
• Maximize recoveries from insurers, salvage dispositions, subrogation or other recovery proceedings through close monitoring.
• Ensure timely advices, relevant supporting documents and responses to enquiries are provided to coinsurers / reinsurers to settle their share promptly.
• To meet or exceed the expectations/objectives set on the individual’s and the Team’s yearly goal setting.

Requirements

• GCE “O” Level and Diploma / Professional certificates in the relevant discipline
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in Home insurance claims/ General Insurance claims
• Knowledge in Home Insurance and A&H claims handling.
• Excellent communication and internal personal skills. Ability to effectively manage all internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent customer service.
• Ability to organize work effectively and methodically. Highly adaptable to change in a fast-paced environment.

Job Purpose:
The Clinical Governance Officer (CGO) is responsible for ensuring the clinical services provided by the healthcare institution adhere to the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. The CGO plays a pivotal role in implementing and monitoring clinical governance frameworks, policies, and procedures as per the Ministry of Health (MOH) guidelines and the Healthcare Services Act 2020 in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:

Healthcare Services Act 2020 - General Regulations 2021, Regulation 15(1)(a).

1. Clinical Governance and Oversight:
o Provide clinical governance and technical oversight over the licensable healthcare service or specified service.
o Assist the licensee in the day-to-day management of the clinical and technical aspects of the licensable healthcare service or specified service.

2. Policy Implementation and Review:
o Ensure the implementation and regular review of policies and systems for clinical governance, clinical risk management, effective quality management systems, and any other clinical and technical related matters.
o Identify and remedy any weaknesses or inadequacies related to clinical or technical aspects, informing the licensee and proposing preventive measures.

3. Compliance and Standards:
o Ensure that personnel involved in clinical or technical aspects comply with appropriate policies and processes concerning clinical and technical standards.
o Maintain close supervision, adequate training, and regular competency assessments of personnel to enable them to perform their work effectively and safely.

4. Risk Management:
o Detect and address in a timely manner any risks affecting patient safety, welfare, or continuity of care.
o Immediately notify the licensee of any matter that may affect compliance with any license condition.

5. Availability and Accessibility:
o Be available to handle matters requiring the CGO's attention or appoint suitably qualified personnel if unavailable.

Responsibilities:

• Enforces company rules and regulation and requirements of the Port Facility Security Plan
• Drafts and maintains company procedures and risk assessment, ensuring company procedures, risk assessments and instructions are followed and updated when necessary
• Oversees and troubleshoots Security systems under the security department such as CCTV system, access control gantries, barriers, etc
• Retrieves and stores CCTV footages required for investigation cases
• Maintains inventory of Security IT/OT devices and the status of each device
• Oversees the repairs and maintenance of Security IT/OT devices. This includes discussing with network and IT teams on activities that may affect regular security operations and coordinating steps to resolve vulnerability issues such as patch updates and others.
• Logs, reports and addresses Security IT/OT hardware and software faults to the correct party and follow up on each case under the issue has been resolved
• Assists Security Manager to review and update technology data risk assessment
• Collates and organizes information collated from Security Department Records such as Security Daily Reports, Cases Statistics, Patrol Findings & Detection Records, Leading & Lagging Statistics, Visitor Entry/Exit Logs, Outward Permit Records, etc.
• Develops and manages databases of Security related information
• Identifies and interprets trends or patterns that could lead to potential security exploits through data analysis
• Creates management dashboards to assist in tracking of departmental activity progress and quick generation of reports
• Performs other assignments as assigned by Security Manager

Requirements:

• 3 years of relevant working experience performing technology-related work
• Familiar with Microsoft Office suite of applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Forms, Power Automate, PowerApps, etc
• Good technical knowledge of computers, access control systems & devices, CCTV hardware and software and other common security, IT and OT equipment
• Has experience managing security IT/OT systems such as CCTV hardware / software, access control, biometric or card door and gantry systems, cark park barrier systems, Patrol Clocking devices, etc
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
• Physically fit to perform checks and inspection on tools, equipment and systems in yard operational areas, building and perimeter
• Able to single handedly resolve and converse with relevant IT departments or suppliers on physical security system issues
