You will be working in a team of highly dedicated and professional colleagues. The main tasks of the Consular Section are handling of Schengen visa applications and residence permit applications, as well as providing consular assistance to Danish nationals and nationals with residence permit in Denmark.

As a Consular & Visa Officer (CW2), you will be responsible for all steps of the visa case processing. The work involves handling and prioritizing many different visa cases on a daily basis, keeping up to date with key legislation, and sparring with colleagues.

You are expected to show the flexibility required for an optimal handling of the entire portfolio of the Embassy and be ready to contribute to handling tasks outside your own portfolio.

Main tasks and responsibilities as Consular & Visa Officer

· Examination of Schengen visa and residence permit applications, incl. required documentation, and interviewing of applicants

· Registering of applications in relevant IT systems

· Final case processing, incl. responsibility for deciding on approvals, refusals and submission cases

· Attending phone calls and written correspondences with applicants, as well as handling the Embassy phone and reception

· Contact to the Danish Immigration Service and other relevant stakeholders/authorities

· General consular assistance to Danish nationals and nationals with residence permit in Denmark, incl. passport applications and minor translations

· Keep apprised of changes to instructions for visas and passports, and update checklists and best practices accordingly

· Ongoing follow-up of rules and regulations to help ensure compliance within the consular area

Competencies:

· Education: Relevant public administration, language, social science, political or trade related background, preferably at bachelor level. A combination of extensive work experience with relevant education will be considered

· Experience: Applicants should have at least 5 years of working experience

· Language Requirements: Excellent command of written and spoken English - as well as Danish or another Nordic language

· Due to the visa authorisation applicant must be EU/Schengen national

· An analytical mind, strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills

· Review and check that all works comply fully with contract drawings and documents, and approved shop drawings.

JOB SUMMARY

The Programme for Research in Epidemic Preparedness and REsponse (PREPARE) is a national programme that was set up by the Ministry of Health (MOH) to support and strengthen Singapore’s key essential research capabilities, translational platforms, and expertise to develop tools, methods and products that can be tapped on to detect, respond to, and contain future infectious disease threats.

You will lead and oversee the development and execution of immunogenicity and challenge animal models for viral pathogens within the ABSL3 or ABSL2 setting as part of the PREPARE Vaccine & Therapeutics co-op. This co-op aims to develop pathogen-agnostic technologies and platforms to enable rapid therapeutic or vaccine development to enhance Singapore’s capabilities and access to vaccines during future epidemics. You will be responsible for experimental design, evaluation and documentation of the results and coordination with our host BSL3 laboratory which is located at NTU LKC School of Medicine.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

SPECIFIC

1. Development and execution of animal challenge experiments for viral pathogens with pandemic potential within the ABSL3 at LKC Experimental Medicine Building (NTU) and immunogenicity experiments for vaccine platforms within the ABSL2 at LKC Clinical Sciences Building (Novena)
2. Assist with preparation and submission of IACUC protocols
3. Work with the PREPARE Laboratory head to manage PREPARE projects and train/supervise attached staff.
4. Lead the immunological/virological characterization of experimental samples within BSL3/BSL2 e.g. T cell reactivity, viral load, neutralization titre etc in support of PREPARE projects.

GENERAL

1. Ensure safe execution of experiments and adherence to SOPs and all safety & ethics regulations/policies and procedures stipulated by the lab and institution.
2. Analyze experimental data and ensure proper documentation of results.
3. Prepare scientific papers and posters for publication and/or presentation at research & scientific conferences.
4. Perform other duties as directed by supervisors and HOD, including work areas not mentioned here.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION

1. Ph.D in Microbiology, Life Sciences, Molecular Biology, Infectious Diseases or equivalent.
2. Holds a current RUCLAC or equivalent certificate.

EXPERIENCE

1. Minimum 5 years’ experience with small animal models of viral infection
2. Familiarity with standard mouse handling echniques e.g. intranasal inoculation, IV/IP injection, cheek bleeds, administration of anaesthesia/euthanasia
3. Experience with immunological techniques such as multi-parameter flow cytometry, ELIspot, T cell activation and culture, ELISA
4. Willing to work in a high containment setting with high-risk pathogens. Prior experience working with animals in a high containment (ABSL3) laboratory setting is advantageous.
5. Experience with virological techniques such as PRNT, TCID, microneutralization assays highly desirable
6. Ability to lead a research project independently, able to cope with tight timelines and willing to respond out-of-office hours during national emergencies or due to exigencies of service.
7. Able to work well as a team and with partners from other PREPARE Cores & Co-ops, academic labs or government agencies.
8. Good oral and written communication skills.

Job Responsibility Reservations/OTS Agent/Officer:

• Responsible for handling telephone enquiries, accepting reservations and subsequently inputting it into the system.
• Report directly to the Reservations Manager
• Be well versed in Resavison
• Work closely with all Front Office and Sales & Marketing providing lead advice and constant "feedback" concerning both enquiries and firm reservations
• Maintain a professional and friendly attitude while liaising with guests and clients both in person and on the telephone.
• Provide efficient and courteous telephone service to guests and callers so as to upkeep the service standards of Sofitel.
• Responsible to ensure that all information relating to a reservation is keyed correctly into the system and is of highest accuracy with errors kept to an absolute minimum.

Job Summary:

The Driving Range Officer will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and overall operations of OCC driving range facility. Your responsibilities will include assisting patrons, managing ball dispensers, tee up system, ensuring a clean and organized environment, and supporting the overall customer experience.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist patrons with sale, validating, provide general information, offer support to range patrons regarding range facilities and equipment.

2. Ensure proper functioning of Tee-Up system, ball dispenser, top-up kiosks, payment, and terminals.

3. Regularly inspect, maintain range accessories and inventory. All malfunctions or issues must be reported to the supervisor.

4. Ensure there is a continuous supply of clean range balls in all the members bays and ball dispensers.

5. Upkeep the driving range office clean and organized. Promote a safe and secure environment for range patrons and staff.

6. Monitor the range to ensure patrons adhere to the rules and regulations, including the proper use of range equipment, dress code and safety guidelines.

7. Ensure all cash proceeds are handed over to the hotel counter at the end of the day.

8. Inventory management for range equipment, accessories and supplies.

9. Conduct routine patrol of the range to monitor compliance

10. Address inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner. Provide excellent customer service to enhance the overall experience

11. Handle cash transactions, maintain proper records of sales, transactions, lost and found cards, etc accurately and responsibly. All cash proceeds must be handed over to the safe at the Hotel counter at the end of business day.

12. Notwithstanding the above, you are expected to carry out other duties assigned by the Superior.
