Close collaboration with the management and corporate strategy team will be required, as you gain a thorough understanding of the various people-related challenges facing the organisation. You will be the go-to person for implementing solutions related to HR processes, ensuring compliance with labour laws and government regulations. In order to succeed in this role, you will need to think creatively, analyze data, challenge established practices, and at times, transform the way things are done.

Responsibilities

• Assist in employee payroll processing
• Assist in recruitment process, including screening resume, conducting preliminary telephone interview and interview arrangement
• Apply work passes for foreign workers including renewal and cancellation
• Prepare employment contracts and letters of appointment, confirmation and promotion
• Assist in CPF submission and preparation of tax submission and clearance
• Maintain employee database and update employee leave and entitlement records
• Manage and resolve employee relations issues
• Review and update organisation policies
• Review and configure current HR processes and strategy to boost overall productivity, increase performance and employee satisfaction
• Identify and draw on analytical tools and techniques to gather new insights, develop creative HR approaches and provide recommendations to people issues
• Assist in company accounting system

Qualifications

• BA/BSc degree in Business, HR or related discipline
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work within deadlines and well-organised in handling multiple tasks
• Strong and proven track record of managing people
• Meticulous with an eye for detail
• Humble and eager to learn
• Display strong initiative and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Able to proficiently communicate in English and Mandarin as some of our customer base communicate mostly in Mandarin.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensuring accurate bookkeeping

• Recording and maintaining business's financial transactions (AR/AR), update ledger and data entry

• Payment issuance, processing and filing

• Handle claims and reimbursement

• Schedule bank transactions and issue pay slips

• Track and reconcile accounts monthly statements, bank reconciliation

• Performing administrative support during budget or any accounts preparation

• Managing invoices, support in duties related to accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

• Handle any other administrative duties as assigned by Management
