The Programme for Research in Epidemic Preparedness and REsponse (PREPARE) is a national programme that was set up by the Ministry of Health (MOH) to support and strengthen Singapore’s key essential research capabilities, translational platforms, and expertise to develop tools, methods and products that can be tapped on to detect, respond to, and contain future infectious disease threats.

You will lead and oversee the development and execution of immunogenicity and challenge animal models for viral pathogens within the ABSL3 or ABSL2 setting as part of the PREPARE Vaccine & Therapeutics co-op. This co-op aims to develop pathogen-agnostic technologies and platforms to enable rapid therapeutic or vaccine development to enhance Singapore’s capabilities and access to vaccines during future epidemics. You will be responsible for experimental design, evaluation and documentation of the results and coordination with our host BSL3 laboratory which is located at NTU LKC School of Medicine.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

SPECIFIC

1. Development and execution of animal challenge experiments for viral pathogens with pandemic potential within the ABSL3 at LKC Experimental Medicine Building (NTU) and immunogenicity experiments for vaccine platforms within the ABSL2 at LKC Clinical Sciences Building (Novena)
2. Assist with preparation and submission of IACUC protocols
3. Work with the PREPARE Laboratory head to manage PREPARE projects and train/supervise attached staff.

Job Scope:

Customer Interaction:
Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, or in-person in a timely and professional manner.
Provide accurate information about products, services, and company policies.
Assist customers with placing orders, making returns, and processing exchanges.

Issue Resolution:
Address customer complaints, troubleshoot problems, and follow up to ensure issues are resolved satisfactorily.
Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department or supervisor when necessary.

Record Keeping:
Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer records, including details of inquiries, complaints, and transactions.
Document customer interactions and actions taken in the company’s CRM system.

Collaboration:
Work closely with other departments to provide seamless customer service.

Customer Feedback:
Collect and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement in products, services, or customer processes.
Provide suggestions to management on how to improve the overall customer experience.

Compliance:
Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations and best practices.
Ensure all customer service activities comply with legal and ethical standards.

Performance Monitoring:
Meet or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) related to customer service, such as response times, resolution rates, and customer satisfaction scores.

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 GCE “O” Level passes and/or proficient in English.
- Require working on shift:

1st Shift: Runs from morning to late afternoon (9:00 AM to 6:30 PM).
2nd Shift: Covers the afternoon to night hours (12:30 PM to 10:00 PM).
