New Life Children Programme is a specialised service catered to K2 to P4 children. Our missional purpose is to nurture children to be confident and compassionate individuals.
We are looking for individuals who are dedicated and passionate in working with children as well as partnering with parents, volunteers and other stakeholders in supporting the children’s development.
Roles and responsibilities
· Plan, execute, monitor, and evaluate literacy and numeracy programmes to support children’s learning.
· Conduct assessment for entry and exit from programme, and referral to other services or agencies when appropriate.
· Build positive and close working relationships with children, parents and relevant stakeholders.
· Conduct volunteer training on-site and online and provide support to volunteers.
· Plan and organize learning journeys, meet-the-parents sessions, graduation ceremonies and other programme events.
Job Requirements
· Polytechnic diploma or bachelor’s degree in Education, Community Development, Social Work or related field.
· Passion for literacy, numeracy, and community development.
· Service-oriented, passionate about working with children and families.
· Team player, able to take initiative, and adaptable to changes.
· Experience in working with children, and programme management is an advantage.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and other basic project management tools.
· Able to work on regular weeknights, and occasional weekends.
· Combination of office-based work, and conduct on-site programme
