Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following experience, knowledge and skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum 5 years of experience in compliance, preferably in the insurance / reinsurance / financial services industry
• Understanding of compliance requirements in the insurance / reinsurance sector
• Strong knowledge of the Insurance Act, General Insurance Association of Singapore‘s guidelines, MAS notices and guidelines, and related legislations
• Mature and independent worker with very good stakeholder management capability
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively at all levels and across functions

Job description

The successful applicant will:

• Implement a comprehensive Compliance Management System to manage compliance risks for the Company. This includes promoting a culture of compliance across the organisation, carrying out compliance risk analysis, providing staff training, performing compliance monitoring activities and preparing compliance reports for local and ERGO Group management.
• Provide compliance advisory to management having regard for legal requirements, regulations and ERGO Group’s policies and guidelines.
• Monitor changes in insurance regulations and other legislative developments which could impact the Company and provide advice to management to implement necessary changes.
• Implement robust policies and procedures and monitoring activities for data protection, Anti-Money Laundering / Countering of Financing of Terrorism, and sanction screening to ensure adherence to regulatory and Group requirements. Undertake the role of Data Protection Officer.
• Manage and assist with investigations such as complaint investigations and market conduct investigations.
• Act as the point of contact in regulatory liaison matters and handle requests from regulators.
• Perform annual review of outsourcing arrangements and report the results to management
• Keep up-to-date the register of the Company’s policies and procedures and monitor compliance with internal policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

· Minimum of a secondary education.

· Successfully completed the following WSQ modules:

o Guard and Patrol: Provide Guard and Patrol Services.

o Incident Response: Handle Security Incidents and Services.

o Threat Observation: Recognise Terrorist Threats.

· Possession of PLRD license.

• Supports the Aftersales Manager / Service Manager with administrative activities and paperwork

• Conducts follow up according to subcontractors’ last activity

• Ensures office supplies are sufficient and to order

• Safekeep uniforms and safety boots and coordinate ordering

• Knows the relevant KPIs for his or her target achievement

• Ensures the smooth cooperation between all interfaces

• Filing of all documents and scanning and archiving

Supports the warranty department

• Makes sure that all customer data are updated

• To submit warranty claims

• Take part in warranty disposal

• Ensures warranty documents are submitted on time and error free

• General administration of all warranty matters

Customer care with call centre and reception

• Liaise with call centre on customer requests

• Assist with CCR-S

• Assist with VOC scores and response rate

The Opportunity

We are looking for a dedicated Officer - Admin who will be responsible to provide administrative support to ensure efficient operations of the service centre. This in turn enables the service centre to uphold a high level of customer satisfaction. To succeed in this role, you should be a self-starter, passionate about dedicating to be part of a dynamic team, be able to adapt to shifting priorities, pick up and apply new skills and knowledge in an energising environment in a positive manner.

Responsibilities:

· You will handle the inventory of office supplies, non-IT office equipment, and services such as printing, post and messenger services within prescribed procedures and contractual agreements

· You are responsible for the purchase, maintenance and disposal of all non-IT office equipment and inventory

· You are assisting the Customer Service Executive on WIP to facilitate completion of task on hand

· You will collate and prepare reports such as employee overtime report, time analysis report, lubricant report

· Assist the Credit Control function such as sending reminder letters to debtors according to audit requirements and updating of payment status

· You will be task to verify all supplier invoices against Purchase Order and obtain necessary approval from managers. Collate and submit these invoices to Accounts Department for preparing payment

· Safe keeping of petty cash float and handle reimbursement

· You will co-ordinate all refund to customers

· Co-ordination with the Human Resource department on the collection of claims and overtime sheet on a monthly basis (if any)

· Any other duties assigned by immediate supervisor from time-to-time Additional Duties (if applicable)

· Generating and closing of internal and warranty invoices

· You will assist in preparing insurance quotations, invoices and relevant documents for submission to Insurance Company for Accident Repairs

· Issue system credit notes

· Manage document filing including external storage and dispose of them

Requirements:

· Minimum GCE 'O' Level with at least 2 years of administrative experience

· Proficient in MS Office and meticulous with numbers and details oriented

· Great teammate with good interpersonal and communication skills

· Enjoys learning and working in a high-energy and performance driven environment

· Ability to handle ambiguity and confidentiality
