We’re searching for an Engineer to be part of our Manufacturing diverse team of talent. You will be responsible for supervising and coordinating production activities to meet daily and monthly manufacturing goals.

What you will be working on:

• Supervise and coordinate production activities to meet daily and monthly manufacturing goals through the efficient use of manpower, material, and machine; together with proficient methodologies, in a hazardous-free and healthy working environment.
• Plan, strategize and monitor the movement of WIP for maximum throughput, minimum idle time and maintain line linearity.
• Solicit Engineering support to ensure tight focus on areas and variance requiring immediate attention.
• Resolve and handle line-related issues / preventive maintenance and to understand all equipment capacities / constraints so as to identify, handle and resolve bottleneck situations.
• Mentor and train all Manufacturing Leaders and Assistants to develop skills required for efficient MFG operations.
• Execute improvement programs in manufacturing operations in his/her Section.
• Facilitate and participate in quality, productivity and cost reduction improvement.
• Ensure safety, discipline and housekeeping compliance by all personnel and take actions on violators.
• Ensure proper documentation and data-integrity.
• Perform shift duties to support production, as required by Section Manager.

More About You:

• Degree in Engineering
• Preferably 1-3 years relevant wafer fab manufacturing experience.
• Candidates with no experience will be considered for junior role, training will be provided

• To lead a team of service engineers for in-house testing, factory acceptance test and site commissioning
• Provide emergency/ on call service jobs to customers
• Provide maintenance contract service and plant shutdown services
• Provide in-house service repair for analysers
• To assist service manager/deputy service manager on daily activities of the department
• To perform site commissioning/ start-up services for analyzer system
• To take up assignment for oversea long / short term maintenance contract
• Oversee the maintain of all service test equipment
• Ensure that the testing room to be in good working conditions
• Assist Service Manager/deputy Service Manager to establish training programs for new/ existing service personnel
• To provide guidance to service personnel in problem solving
• Establish test procedures for service department
• Conduct training to existing and new service personnel
• To assist Service Manager/Deputy Service Manager in preparing yearly department budget
• To assist Service Manager/Deputy Service Manager in planning schedule and distribution of service workload
• Any other adhoc duties assigned

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical engineering
• Minimum 2 to 5 years Electrical Installation experience in Greenfield projects.
• A self-starter with the ability to work independently, as well as in a team.
• Should be highly motivated and able to work under tight schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and schedules works with reference to contractual schedules
• Coordinate goods delivery with suppliers and installations works with sub-contractors as required
• Attend to all operational matters related to the daily running of the project
• Liaise with customers/consultants/project managers concerning approval of plans and drawings, acceptance of work, progress of work, problem solving, etc.
• Attend site meetings and inspections, report regularly on progress and monitor project schedule
• Update As-Built Drawings
• Testing and Commissioning of the completed installations with Customers/Consultants/Sub-Contractors
• Co-ordinate with customers/consultants/project managers to handover completed project with O&M Manual.

Key Responsibility

• Serving as the first point of contact to operational and user inquiries via phone and email.
• Following up with users to ensure full resolution of issues.
• Collaboration with stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Resolve technical issues by identifying problems, guiding users through corrective steps, or escalating issues to appropriate teams.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve knowledge base and support processes.
• Create, review and update operational documentation and reports.
• Be proactive and promptly providing first level technical assistance to users' questions and problems.

Requirement

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineer/Computer Science or related field.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate (both verbally and written) and interact effectively at all levels.
• Familiarity with helpdesk software and technical troubleshooting.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical details clearly.
• Experience in supporting government agency is preferred.
• Experience with software testing is preferred.
• Singapore citizenship is required
