What will you do as a Cybersecurity Platform Support Engineer?

• Provide technical support to cybersecurity platforms managed by CSITR, maintaining a wide variety of devices and systems for host security, network security, data protection, identity and access management, cloud security, application security, and security operations
• Monitor for vulnerabilities, and analyse impact of patches and updates on cybersecurity platforms
• Assist in the supervision of the platform support L2 team
• Manage escalations and troubleshoot issues when they arise, liaising with vendors as needed

What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering or equivalent
• At least 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in financial services or asset management industries, with minimum 7 years in Cyber Security or Information Security
• Hands-on experience in supporting and maintaining cybersecurity platforms, including troubleshooting techniques and use of diagnostic tools
• Scripting and coding skills, with proficiency in Python or similar programming languages
• Good knowledge of Windows and Linux OS, networking concepts and protocols, principles of access rights and permissions
