What Will You Do?

As a data engineer, you will play a key part in helping HDB begin its journey to be data-driven to the core. In this role, you will assume the following responsibilities:
• Create and maintain data architectures that meets the needs of HDB.
• Build and maintain data platforms required for storage, extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources.
• Improve discoverability and distribution of analytical data to data analysts and data scientists.
• Implement best practices in data security throughout the lifecycle of analytical data.

You will be a Great Fit if you:

• Background in Information Systems (IS), Computer Science or related field in a reputed institution.
• 3 years relevant experience in designing and maintaining data platforms such as data lakes, data warehouses and the associated data pipelines is preferred.
• Proficient in creating and maintaining complex data pipelines using tools such as Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• Knowledge of data platforms such as Spark, Flink, Kafka, SQL and NoSQL databases, Airflow
• Knowledge of the latest developments in data engineering and best practices in data management.
• Knowledge of analytical tools is an advantage e.g., SAS Viya, Tableau, PowerBI, Amazon SageMaker, ArcGIS Pro
• Knowledge in cloud computing, design and development is an advantage e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP
• Knowledge of cloud technologies in data platforms is a plus e.g. Snowflake, AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, Azure Synapse.

Contract Duration - 12 months

• Responsible for Database(mysql) and Middleware(Redis/Kafka/ElasticSearch) management support and backup/restoration.
• Responsible for Database(mysql) and Middleware(Redis/Kafka/ElasticSearch) trouble shooting and optimization.
• Responsible for the password and permission management of Database(mysql) and Middleware(Redis/Kafka/ElasticSearch) .
• Responsible for data migration projects, infra enhancement and solution architecture.
• Responsible for designing and enforcing DBA procedures, standards and rules.

Requirements:

• Proficient in how MS SQL/Mariadb/Oracle Database works and familiar with the differences between different Database versions.
• Participate in the 24/7 rotational shift including weekends.
• Experience in developing and executing database security policies, procedures
• Must take initiatives to automate manual Database work
• Proficient in analyzing MSSQL statement performance, designing and implementing indexing and table sharding;
• Familiar with non-structural databases such as MongoDB and Elasticsearch and hands-on skills for performance tuning.
• Experience in operating Alibaba Cloud database products is preferred, and experience in using AWS database products is preferred.
• Familiar with Linux and scripting languages such as Shell or Python.
• Strong experience of backups, restores, recovery models, database shrink operations, DBCC commands

Job Description

• Understanding of Project Specifications, construction drawings and to ensure that all site activities comply with the regulations and client’s requirements
• Monitor site works to ensure the method statements and work procedure are strictly followed.
• Competent in carrying out supervision of structural works by identifying any non-conformity of contractor’s work site
• Ensure the Builder (incl. technical supervisors) executes the work in accordance to Consultant’s instructions
• Check drawings for discrepancies and highlight to Consultant, suggesting possible solutions to prevent delays
• Conduct quality inspections and quality control of materials used for the project
• To ensure proper documentation of site inspection records, safety records and approved /as-built drawings
• Maintaining and updating site records on progress of work, housekeeping and preparing reports
• Verify the contractors’ progress payment, claim in terms of work done and materials/equipment delivered and stored on site
• Witness all the inspection, testing and commissioning sessions performed by the contractors to ensure compliance with designs and specifications
• Report to project QP / Project Consultants Team on quality and progress
• Supervision of demolition of basement/foundation, ERSS construction and all other design works
• To manage & coordinate with the site supervisors (incl. RTO) with respect to C&S engineering works, architectural and M&E engineering works
• Possesses a complete understanding of local requirements, especially to comply with BCA's criteria for build-ability and safety assurance system
• To carry out regular site checks on Builder and ensure compliance on health and work safety in accordance with MOM
• To attend site, progress, variation and coordination meetings.
• Period: 36 months
• Start from: November 2024

Requirements:

• min. Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in supervision of commercial buildings
• Resident Engineer Certificate accredited by IES / ACES is a must, candidate without RE certificate need not apply
• Conversant in statutory code and requirements
• Good team player with strong interpersonal and communications skills essential

• Generate and update assembly documents in database. Provide drafting and drawing support for package drawings, interposer drawings, and manufacturing drawings.
• Support package and DFMEA reviews with assembly engineering and subcon teams.
• Support package technology development, including material selection, process development, DOEs, and related activities

Requirements:

• Master (preferred) or Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience in semiconductor packaging industry OR PhD graduates in Electrical Engineering
• Candidates must possess a strong design knowledge of high-density (Wirebond + Flip-Chip) packaging architectures, die stack-up, packaging layout optimization.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written in English.
• Excellent problem solving and analytic skills.
• Experience with Cadence SIP, APD and AutoCAD software tools is preferred.
• Good understanding of Silicon IP, floorplan and Signal/Power Integrity is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize and manage numerous projects with minimum supervision.
