Responsibilities

· Design, implement, and configure OpenShift clusters and containerized applications

· Develop and maintain technical documentation related to design, configuration, usage, troubleshooting, backup, recovery, etc., for all OCP environments

· Provide Technical assessment and advisory in relation to design, installation, configuration, including system upgrade and migration of OCP environment, including the operators for OCP

· Collaborate with development teams to onboard and optimize applications on the OpenShift platform

· Implement best practices for containerization, orchestration, and automation using OpenShift

· Troubleshoot Red Hat OCP configuration and services and container issues, working in collaboration with other relevant IT areas and vendor support towards a quick and effective resolution

· Work on container security solutions and ensure compliance with security policies

· Manage OpenShift clusters for performance, availability, and capacity planning

· Perform assessments and health checks of existing solutions and provide best practice recommendation and guidance to Support team.

Requirements

· Minimum 10 years of practical experience in the implementation of OpenShift/Kubernetes environments

· Expertise with the RedHat OpenShift Container Platform/Kubernetes.

· Experience in dealing with container configuration management, especially Helm and app-of-apps concepts.

· Experience working with infrastructure as code technologies such as Ansible, Terraform.

· Knowledge of application development, ideally Java Spring Boot.

Experience in CI/CD Pipeline.

Job Scope :

- Inspect outgoing parts and incoming sub-contracted parts according to established procedure / specification of inspection and carry out Incoming Process Inspection.

- Maintain quality record and file quality data.

- Highlight quality problems discovered to the QA Manager and Factory Manager / Production Manager / Asst. Production Manager for action.

- Ensure that all non-conforming products are not mixed with good products prior to disposition.

- Authorise the rejection of parts if found unsatisfactory.

- Authorise the release of conforming parts to be sent to the store for subsequent delivery to customers.

- Perform factory routine test and check of switchboards completed in the workshop.

- Testing and commissioning of switchboards on board vessels or on-site to the satisfaction of customers; and attend to warranty claims / quality complaints.

- Conduct official tests on the switchboards which require witnessing by surveyors or consultants and also maybe with the presence of customers.

- Assist the Manager in quality responsibilities and achieving quality objectives.

- Maintain good housekeeping in the QA Department.

- Observe and adhere to safety rules during the performance of every task.

- Ensure the use of calibrated instrument for inspection.

- Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of Product Non-Conformity.

- Initiate, recommend or provide solutions to problem detected.

- Verify the implementation of solutions.

- Control further processing and delivery of Non-Conforming products until the deficiency has been corrected.

- Carry out other responsibilities as and when assigned by the superiors.

Requirements:

- Nitec / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

- 1 - 2 years of relevant working experience

- Experience with Switchboard / Panels an added advantage

- Able to travel for work occassionally

- Good communication and interpersonal skills

- Comfortable working at Tuas. Transport provided

- Able to start work immediate or short notice
