• Review the Quality Management System periodically to assess continued suitability and areas of possible improvement
• Arrange for ISO13485, ISO14971 and FDA 21 CFR Part 820 awareness training and further refresher training as needed
• Coordinate and plan work of external audit such as Customer, ISO certification and Regulatory bodies
• Ensure that systems and procedures are in compliance with ISO13485, ISO14971, FDA 21CFR Part 820, and GDP requirements
• Mentor / supervise as assigned and ensure timely and accurate completion of quality projects

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quality Management or Electronics Engineering

Job Purpose

1. Overall in charge for all Planned Preventive Maintenance as well as Corrective

Maintenance works related to Track, Track Foundation, Trackbed and 3rd Rail System in

SMRT

2. Ensure all Line Maintenance works (PM & CM) are complied with approved quality

procedure, work instruction ( ISO 9002 Standard)

3. To achieve and maintain Key Performance Indicator set by Permanent Way Management.

Responsibilities

1. Responsible for all staff’s welfare, attendance, disciplinary matters, safety and maintenance

2. To submit weekly maintenance programme to LM.

3. To prepare monthly report on team man-hours

4. To upkeep and maintain the office.

5. To coordinate with Chief Controller on all fault reports and arrange for proper deployment

6. To plan out all Correction & Preventive Maintenance works and ensure it is carried out

promptly and comply to approved quality procedure and WIs.

Duties and Responsibilities

3. Lead and supervise a team of Technical Officer(s) to perform preventive, corrective, overhaul, troubleshooting, engineering analysis, investigation or any assigned maintenance activities on all rolling stocks, depot and workshop equipment.

4. Assist to plan and coordinate staff deployment and shift roster to optimise resources utilisation.

5. Verify and ensure all tasks executed by the team are in accordance to latest Work Instructions, Quality, Maintenance, Operational and Safety Procedures, and to ensure personal and peers’ safety at all times.

6. Ensure spares, tools and equipment used are in good condition and calibrated if necessary.

7. Perform train shunting activities and operate depot equipment, maintenance vehicles and maintenance equipment to support maintenance activities of the group.

8. Verify and ensure work records done by the team are updated factually, accurately and timely on Work Records Form and on the Maintenance Management System

9. Report immediately any abnormalities or practices observed that are not in accordance to Work Instructions, Quality, Maintenance, Operational and Safety Procedures.

10. Adopt KAIZEN methodology (5M, 5S & 5W) to eliminate 8 Wastes and improve Productivity and Value of work performed.

11. Provide support to staff, contractors or any other personnel who are required to perform work on depot and all rolling stocks.

12. To support the group during incidents, accidents and emergencies.

13. Ensure excellent housekeeping are maintained within all work areas.

14. Maintain a high level of work discipline and standards.

Role Overview

Assist Project Manager / Construction Manager / M&E Manager to manage and execute the M&E work so that the project will complete in accordance with the authority requirement and consultant design, at the same time meet the safety, quality, and schedule requirement.

Duties and Responsibility

• Develop, plan, and supervise M&E works: - HVAC - LV Electrical Works & Fixtures - Fire Protection System - Plumbing & Sanitary System - Laboratory Instrument & Furniture - Cold Room
• Coordinate M&E works with all aspects of construction and liaise with Client, building professionals, sub-contractors
• Monitor project status, site progress and update project schedule.
• Expected to provide solutions for M&E technical issues e Maintain the record of the site event / activities and preparation of analysis report.

Knowledge, Skill and Abilities

• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Interpretation of M&E drawings, good understanding of codes & regulations, Green Mark requirements.
• Must be a team player and ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
• Good time management skills. e Sound understanding of project management in relation to timeframes, productivity, dependencies and critical path.
• Ability to remain calm and productive in a high-pressure environment.
• Involved in QA/QC works such as Inspection and Commissioning for M&E System would be an advantage. (With Client Representative & RTO)

Background, Experience

• 3 years or above as M&E Engineer / Supervisor (Would be an advantage)
• Experience in working as M&E Engineer / Supervisor in the industrial / plant project of $2 millions and above.
• Competency of MS Office, BIM, Navisworks and ACAD would be an advantage
