Job Scope:

- Prepare and dispatch survey forms, monitor returns and remind respondents via phone call to encourage timely returns;

- Clarify price changes with respondents;

- Perform data entry of prices collected;

- Keep the CPI codes and selected/reserved status up-to-date and consistent across data files to facilitate the loading of input files;

- Prepare excel working file for the parallel collection of prices from establishments via web extraction;

- Assist on various admin tasks; and

Cover price collection via fieldwork when necessary.

Requirements:

- Work arrangement: 3 days on-site (Mon, Tue and Fri), 2 days WFH (Wed, Thu)

- Company EZ-Link card will be provided to cover the cost of bus and MRT if being activated for fieldwork.

Job Description

• To respond to customer calls to troubleshoot technical problems of medical devices so as to achieve customers’ satisfaction in turnaround time and minimize downtime
• To perform preventive maintenance as scheduled and highlight technical abnormalities to minimize equipment downtime

REQUIREMENTS

Education

• Diploma or Degree in Biomedical / Electronics / Electrical Engineering

Experience

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in the medical industry (especially IVD or hospital BME departments)
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve problems on electronic and mechanical instrumentation

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Ability to read, interpret and analyze schematics, assembly drawings, and wiring diagrams
• Ability to use standard test and calibration equipment including digital multimeter

Responsibilities:
1. Customer Service:

• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by delivering excellent support services.

• Design and implement efficient processes for onboarding new employees, including laptop setup, account provisioning, and orientation on IT policies.
• Streamline and execute offboarding procedures, ensuring secure data removal, account deactivation, and retrieval of IT assets.

• Having knowledge to troubleshoot Wi-Fi or Network related issues.
• Possess expertise in diagnosing and resolving printer-related issues, including hardware malfunctions, connectivity problems, and print queue management.
• Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance strategies to optimize printer performance and minimize disruptions.
• Collaborate with vendors for escalated printer issues, warranty claims, and hardware replacements.

3. Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of support activities, including incident reports, service requests, and resolutions.
• Generate and analyse performance reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience in a technical support role, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership or supervisory position.
• Excellent knowledge of desktop operating systems, hardware, and software applications.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician, ITIL V4) are desirable.
• Solid understanding of ITIL framework and best practices for IT service management
