Position Description

The Coal Trading Analyst will join the Coal Trading team within JERAGM in Singapore. The Opportunity

The Data Analyst (PowerBI)position is a part of the Global IT Department, which is directly overseen by the Group’s CIO. Our team currently comprises of over 40 IT, software, and data professionals primarily based in Shanghai and Moerdijk (the Netherlands). Job Responsibilities:

· Respond to user requests to modify our existing PowerBI resources (~10 workspaces, ~30 semantic models, ~100 dashboards); create new PowerBI resources when necessary

· Respond to other user requests outside of PowerBI by using SQL queries to directly interact with our data warehouse

· Regularly audit data quality and security on both our PowerBI and data warehouse environments (Azure stack)

· Understand recurrent business requirements, able to help data engineers refine data mart designs based on real user expectations; make suggestions to the data team as a whole about how to service the organization better

· Promote a culture of organizational learning by facilitating knowledge sharing and implementing best practices in documentation by ensuring that business requests, and any resulting data products, are well documented.

Requirements:

· 3+ years SQL experience

· 2+ years PowerBI experience

· Bachelor's or Master's degree in any field

· Professional fluency in both written and spoken English

· Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage to effectively liaise with Chinese-speaking counterparts.

Desirable Qualities:

Qualifications:

Analyst/Associate, Asset Management

Job Responsibilities:

Portfolio Management Support/Investment Research

• Support the investment manager in the day-to-day management of investment products which includes cash flow projection, cash management and monitoring of corporate actions

• Trade and FX order booking on Bloomberg and reconciliation of portfolio trades and cash flow between Bloomberg data and broker statements

• Track the performance of client portfolios and various benchmark indices

• Perform research on asset classes and securities as requested by the manager

Marketing and Client Service Support

• Prepare factsheets for regular portfolio reviews with clients

• Prepare Investment Management Agreements (IMA) for new clients

• Prepare marketing materials to support the PM and Private Wealth Management relationship managers in pitching Asset Management products and DPM services to potential clients

Operations

• Prepare data for internal management reporting

• Close collaboration with Operations colleagues on tasks such as back-end trade booking and settlement, fee calculations and payments, and government surveys

• Conduct KYC on potential clients and due diligence on counterparties

• Liaise with various external service providers (legal counsel, custodians, fund administrators, brokers, auditors etc.) for various tasks such as reviewing NAV reports, fund audit and establishing new funds

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of professional experience (experience in fund houses/asset management arms of investment banks is a plus)

• Good understanding of financial markets, traditional and alternative asset classes, and industry landscape

• Onboard of panel of medical doctors for insurance examination; handle enquiries from internal staff and clinic; manage feedback on service delivery.

• Responsible for timely and accurately raising purchase requisitions (PRs) in SAP MM Purchasing upon receipt of approved memo and work order.

• Responsible for timely and accurately performing GRs (Goods Receipt) upon receipt of invoice and approval from authorized leads.

• Ensure that auditable records are kept for each PR raised.

• Assist in tracking and cross referencing of PRs and POs for investigative reasons.

Description of the Opportunity:

• Contribute in initial product implementation, additional enhancement, and/or integration projects for Enuit clients in installing, configuring, testing and supporting such projects either onsite or remotely.

Responsibilities

• Conduct review and analysis of credit risk assessment.
• Conduct independent and impartial credit risk analysis of existing and potential borrowers for (amongst others) creditworthiness and repayment capability.
