Job Scope

You will undertake a supervisory role and be expected to manage a team of assistants. The primary responsibilities will include but not limited to:

The Role

This position will be part of the Group FP&A team and plays an integral role in Group’s forecasting, budgeting and reporting for management purposes as well as the Group’s performance indicators measurement.

Job responsibilities

• Lead the Group FP&A on implementation, improvement initiatives and maintenance of Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) system and processes as part of the Group’s globalisation and digitalisation strategy for budgeting and forecasting.
• Responsible for preparation of monthly/ quarterly forecast as well as budget preparation and analysis at Group level for reporting to Senior management.
• Responsible for preparation of forecast and budget presentation, materials for senior management, including underlying key assumptions / drivers, trend analysis and potential scenarios.
• Support preparation of key financial indicators to facilitate performance measurement reporting process.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting or equivalent in related field.
• At least y8ears of relevant working experience in the area of finance and accounting, of which in FP&A role.
• Finance transformation project experience in system implementation and process improvement.

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with senior level stakeholders.
• Proven strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to details.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure, both independently and in a team.
• Proficient and hands on in financial planning system

Job Objectives:

Group Technology and Operations (GTO) IT division in Singapore is looking for an experienced System analyst to join the Global Markets Enterprise & Technology (GMET).

GMET department is responsible of developing and supporting the bank’s global markets division (Sales & Trading, Product control and risk management) with a multi asset classes exposures covering Commodities, Credit Derivatives, FXD, IRD, FX, MM, Fixed Income products in Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, China and its overseas branches across the globe.

Key Responsibilities:

As part of the GMET Front Office and Product control practice, the analyst will be responsible for:

· Analysing stakeholder requirements, formulating design and development proposals to enhance the global markets technology efficiency and meets Front office expectations

· Delivering and supporting the Global markets platform (Murex), managing the quality of functional delivery and ensuring the implementation and deployment of the deliverables.

· Perform various levels of testing for assigned deliverables as well as participate in formal release cycles (SIT/UAT)

· Contributing and assist existing support parties in resolving requests or issues with Front Office, P&L, Market Data, and booking issues

· Interacting with stakeholders to develop practical domain roadmaps to move the enterprise towards the future state vision, while taking into account business, technical and delivery constraints

· Communicating the principles, standards, vision and roadmaps to stakeholders and proactively addressing any questions / concerns identified

· Acting as a trusted advisor to stakeholders in both business and IT to assist in defining and delivering high quality solutions
