• Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for elements of Accounts Receivable (aka Membership Finance), Accounts Payable and General Ledger.
• Work closely with other Members of the team to manage Membership Finance, including the billing and payment collection cycle;

Qualifications:

Finance

• Perform daily accounting & finance duties including AR, AP, and GL functions and prepare financial statements.
• Maintain and improve the organisation’s admin and bookkeeping/accounting process.
• Prepare management accounts monthly and other key financial metrics
• Assist with HR, payroll, admin and procurement matters.
• Assist in preparing reports and presentation slides

HR

• Assist with onboarding and HR processes such as time management, annual leave, confirmation letters, appraisals, contract management and other standard HR functions

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in finance, account or related field
• 3+ years experience in a similar role in Singapore and familiar with
• Strong time management and administration skills
• Able to develop positive relationships with strong interpersonal skills
• Experience developing HR policies
• Experience with Info Tech and Xero a plus

Key Responsibilities:

Project Implementation: Collaborate with delivery teams across APAC to implement high-priority projects, leading BAs across multiple projects and in Agile Methodology.

• Engage with stakeholders, SMEs and other BAs to manage deliverables such as user stories, process diagrams, functional specs, walkthroughs, Q&A sessions, sign-offs, and production handovers.
• Work with business teams to facilitate discussions, present information, problem solve, and implement alternative solutions where required.
• Work with Delivery Leads and Product Owners on prioritizing and refining the product backlog.
• Support with UAT activity, as required

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Build strong relationships with business and IT stakeholders, becoming a trusted advisor and making recommendations.

• Provide clear, timely communication to keep stakeholders well-informed and avoid surprises.
• Provide status updates to senior management and liaise with external partners and vendors as needed.
• Process Improvement & Facilitation: Facilitate business changes and drive continuous process and operational improvements, with a particular focus on adoption of Agile Methodology and best practice.
• Foster a creative and innovative team environment, facilitating communication and resolving disagreements.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

Required:

• Understanding of the end-to-end insurance value chain, products, processes, regulations, and market trends.
• Understanding of Agile practices, including backlog management, writing user stories, and facilitating Agile ceremonies.
• Experience working with all stakeholders from technical to business roles, and pro-active change management
• Demonstration of analytical thinking, problem solving and coming up with innovative solutions that solve practical business challenges
• Proven experience managing and delivering services in complex, fast paced environments where ambiguity or contention in support requirements is often present.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to conduct system analysis and provide actionable insights
• Strong communication & organizational skills and the ability to manage a variety of competing tasks and stakeholders.

Preferred:

• Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence systems as collaboration tools like Mural.
• Experience working on large scale IT systems consisting of multiple integrated applications.
