Overview and purpose of the position

Work closely with service leads and business stakeholders to identify roadmap of information technology (IT) solutions and enhancements. The individual will be responsible in one of the specialties: technical support to Radiography Information System (RIS) or Laboratory Information system (EPIC Beaker) in meeting business requirements. Staff with a keen aptitude in healthcare IT will be considered and appropriate training will be provided.

Main responsibilities:

• Work closely with Reporting Officer in the approval, acquisition and implementation of IT projects.
• Resolve project issues, working with vendors and key stakeholders as required, to ensure the successful implementation of IT projects
• Oversee the planning, directing, supervising, monitoring and coordinating of vendor and department operations, including assigning work activities, projects, evaluate work processes and procedures, preparing correspondences e.g. general and special reports.

Qualification Required and Area of Discipline

• Degree or diploma holders of Radiography or Medical Laboratory Science with keen interest in IT are welcomed to apply
• Literacy in some Information technology disciplines such as fluency in Python and a systems language (Java, Scala, C++) and experience with Oracle database will be advantageous
• Prior working experience in healthcare industry is preferred but not compulsory

Responsibilities:-

Job Summary:

The Logistics Infrastructure team is looking for a dynamic and experienced individual to perform a role as Logistics systems support. The Infrastructure team governs data, systems and processes related to the Logistics team.

The successful candidate will be a subject matter expert (SME) of Logistics systems including but not limited to real-time track and trace, transportation management and service levels management system. The Agency for Care Effectiveness (ACE) is a Health Technology Assessment (HTA) in Singapore. The role of ACE is to provide independent evidence-based evaluations of health technologies (e.g. drugs, vaccines, medical technologies) to inform funding decisions and produces technology guidances on their appropriate use.

The Economic Modelling team in ACE performs technical appraisal of health technologies including economic modelling and budget impact analysis. The team also builds internal technical capabilities and robustness through methodology development and research, and builds external capabilities through knowledge transfer.
