Job Description:

• Conduct routine sample tests of fuel oil
• Practice good housekeeping to ensure the work area and surrounding is kept clean.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of hazardous waste as defined in the Hazardous Waste Plan
• Verify and keep proper documentations once samples are received and opened
• Coordinate receipt and registration of samples in the LIMS software in a timely manner to be processed for testing without delay
• Report any equipment problem, calibration issues, or difficult samples to Testing Coordinator or Shift-in charge
• Check equipment readiness for assigned test method, carry out QC test as needed and enter result in the SQC system.
• Homogenize sample and subdivide for various test benches
