About the Role

Broker Operations Analyst will provide client and operational support across all client groups whilst working collaboratively with the business. The role is very varied and exploits different skillsets, including front and back office responsibilities.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Being the first point of contact for LMAX Global clients and acting as an ambassador for the company servicing clients across different trading platforms.

• Carrying out administrative back-office tasks that are in line with client account management and support

• Perform the role of a trader, processing client trades over the telephone

• Assist clients with an understanding of their trade executions with an in-depth analysis

• Client account management – includes opening an account, documents chase up, following up on clients’ payment and trading activities

• Carry out basic Payments tasks

• Understanding of CFD dividends & FX Swaps to assist clients with their queries

• Support the Sales team where necessary

• Work to weekly, monthly and quarterly objectives and targets

• Championing swift and effective service that increases opportunities and revenue

• Work closely with internal departments

• Follow internal policies and adhere to regulatory requirements

Essential Skills / Experience:

·         Business Fluency in written and verbal English & Mandarin

·         Effective relationship builder and influencer

·         Pragmatic and flexible with ability to handle ambiguity and remain focused

·         Confident and proactive in communicating with people at all levels and a good team player

·         Performance driven and results orientated with a strong bias for action and outcome. Strong problem solver

·         Proficiency in MS Office applications

Desirable Skills / Experience:

·         Additional languages advantageous.

·         Understanding of FX & CFDs.

·         Experience in and knowledge of the financial sector.

·         Experience using MT4 or MT5 trading software.

Job Scope:

- Handle full set of accounts and ensure timely closing

- Provide management reports monthly & yearly & Audit Schedule to Finance Manager

- Handle Costing Reports of all outlets monthly and other reports if requested

- Ensure inter-company transactions tally among multi-companies

- Prepare/Review quarterly GST submission

- Ensure all filing is done in a timely and accurate manner

- Making sure compliance with all legislative tax & financial reporting policies and requirements

- Perform any other duties as assigned by the management

- Liaise with external auditor

Requirements:

- Minimum Diploma in accountancy

- At least 4 years of handling full set account’s working experience, preferably F&B

- Software skills: Advanced MS Excel, word & Million software preferably

- Good communication skills in Mandarin and English - Positive working attitude

Responsibilities:

(Accounts)

• Responsible for full spectrum of accounting functions for a few entities
• Handle full sets of company accounts (AP, AR, GL), including monthly accounts submission.
• Perform reconciliation (bank, inter-company accounts, accounts receivable)
• Ensure accounting operations are carried out in accordance to internal accounting procedures
• Monitor AR ageing report and follow up with the collection for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities.
• Handle ad hoc assignments as and when required.

(Admin)

• Admin records update and filing
• Monthly update of loan and creating GIRO transactions
• Daily update of instalment payments and make reminder calls to overdue hirer.
• Handle ad hoc assignments as and when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred, ACCA/CPA are welcome.
• Experience in Hire Purchase and Block Discount.
• Experience in automotive industry preferred.
