We focus on maintaining an extensive list of Politically exposed persons (PEP), State owned & invested enterprises (SOE/SIE), Sanctions ownership information, etc.

Daily, you will research and extract data from extensive sources from public domain, ensure accuracy and quality of findings by aligning with policies and applicable laws.

• Strong analysing, capturing the right intelligent information and summarizing in a timely and accurate manner.
• Strong adherence research guidelines following strict requirements to ensure product content and quality.
• Provide content support to clients on daily basis and work closely with team members, client and country researcher across offices to support related ad-hoc projects.
• Work independently in handling individual and team assignment and tasks.

Role requirements:

• Native or full professional language proficiency in Chinese as well as English.
• Good English comprehension and writing skills.
• Preferably at least 2 years' related work experience in research and compliance.
• Strong analytical skills especially with excellent attention to details and critical thinking to analyse and resolve research related issues.
• Strong organization and interpersonal skills.
• Enjoy reading news, following current events as well as good knowledge on official and credible media sources.
• Good domain knowledge of local naming conventions including characteristics of personal names, salutations and titles.
• Passionate about research work and knowledge pertaining to mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, political structure and governance at all levels, sanctions, law enforcement and regulatory enforcement bodies and relevant national laws concerning the AML/CFT regime is an advantage.
• Good understanding of the prevalent financial crimes in mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, based on guidance and reports from the Financial Action Task Force (FATF), the Asia/Pacific Group on Money Laundering (APG), and other relevant sources.

Education Qualification/Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred in International Relations, Political Science, Security Studies, History, Journalism, Linguistics/Languages, or other Humanities fields. Outstanding graduates in other fields or those with validated experience will be considered.
• AML related certifications will be prioritised, if equally qualified.

Job scope

• Perform daily and month end checks on data in Risk Data including updates of reconciliation reports.
• Follow-up and resolve reconciliation breaks.
• Facilitate requirements workshops to engage the various stakeholders such as risk reporting and engines users as well as front office users to elicit and validate business requirements.
• Lead and manage issues, and ensure all requirements have proper traceability.
• Leverage the subject matter experts across technology and business in delivery of structured and well-thought through solutions.
• Become an effective “bridge” between users and technology.
• Participate in Risk Data Production tools and capabilities improvement enhancement.
• Respond promptly to issues raised, through good understanding of business, operational and technical considerations, and recommend sound solutions.

Job requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or any equivalent
• At least 3 years of experience in Business Analyst role.
• Good to have experience working in banking or financial industry
• Well versed in MS Office: Word, Project, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with senior stakeholders.
• Excellent written and oral communications to explain and collaborate on requirements
• Good team player with excellent interpersonal skills.

Perform diagnostic analysis of the network system, identify possible faulty devices, troubleshoot faulty modules, troubleshoot network problems and outages and prepare necessary documentation detailing actions taken.

-Monitor system performance and track usage and develop and deliver a trend analysis of system load, usage and response.

-Monitor the reachability of all connections within the network adhering to circuit restoral priorities and initiate troubleshooting to restore full network capability.

-Analyze system functions and failures to isolate and define problem area

Manage network operations activities and installation of network systems according to design specifications using AI automation.

AI skills are mandatory along with Network engineer skills.

Lead infrastructure network operations project planning and requirements phases; Contribute to the design and implementation of infrastructure replacement plans.
