Purpose of the Role: Main roles and job scope will be supporting Director of Finance, New Hotel Openings – SEAK & JAPAC with a range of strategic projects, day to day monitor the pre-opening progress to help achieve the opening successful.

• Coordinate and manage the regular meeting cadences with new opening hotels’ GM & DOF, take meeting minutes and action follow ups;
• Create and maintain the dashboard for each pre-opening hotels to monitor the progress and document the critical info required for the hotel’s opening;
• Prepare the pre-opening budget, work closely with hotel team on the budget execution on a monthly basis;
• Support on Accounts Receivable collection
• Involve & assist in various new initiatives & key projects around streamline finance pre-opening process, tools enhancement, standardization and compliance requirements;
• Support and drive alignment with internal stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes and deliver the team objectives;
• Identify process improvement opportunities and support the delivery of improvements in processes, systems, controls and procedures.

Education: Undergraduate in Business Management or Hospitality, preferably in their final year of undergrad studies

Experience: Prior internship experience within another Hotel Management Company, Consulting and/or Real Estate advisory firms

OVERALL SUMMARY

The role is within the Treasury (Debt Management) team, and the individual will be working closely with other functions in the Treasury team. Responsibilities includes administering and maintaining the loan and swap book, as well as assisting in debt/ treasury related activities.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Administer loan and swap book (for new and existing facilities)
• Liaising with banks/agents for rate fixing, arranging for timely debt servicing (including swaps, FFAs), arranging for loan disbursements etc.
• Checking/verifying all payments and disbursements (including bank charges, interest/swap/fee calculation) in relation to the loan and swap book
• Preparation of treasury management reports/forecasts to internal departments (including Cash Management and Accounts) on all debt related activities
• To assist in fund raising activities, preparation of bank presentations, as well as information requested by existing/potential banks
• To assist in maintaining/developing existing/new banking relationships
• To assist in optimizing funding structure, e.g. hedging structures/policies relating to interest rates, currencies, interest periods and so on

Qualification/Experience

• At least 3 years in similar treasury function of corporation handling significant loan book or in a bank engaged in credit administration and/or corporate lending activities

General Description of the Role

The Finance analyst, will have the responsibility for ensuring financial reporting and anaylitics integrity for the Singapore legal entity, including Asia Partnership market, Singapore In Market Company, Regional HQ fixed costs. This also includes pricing maintenance in line with strategy through constructive analysis and be responsible for budgeting, forecasting and analysis for both P&L and Cash Flow.

Key Responsibilities and Activities

Commercial FP&A supporting corporate deliverables (RB/Fcst/SBP/Bud for P&L):

• Be responsible for the creation and maintenance of templates/models for the budgeting and forecasting.
• Analysing and providing business insights into the performance of the Singapore In Market Company and the Asia Partnershop markets.
• Ensure RB/Fcst/SBP/Bud submitted on time and accuracy in group reporting systems.
• Pricing maintenance includes transfer price request between legal entities, liasing with Group Tax finance and finance colleagues in other legal entities.
• Creation of regular reports for key stakeholders for use in the monitoring of Singapore legal entity P&L.
• Provide analytics to track the key drivers of performance by customer and brand activities to ensure key message are translated in reporting/forecasting decks.
• Full ownership of deferred discount analysis and reconciliation process including presentation to sales team and senior management.
• Engaging actively with Marketing Director to support with A&P management through the year

Accounting Finance securing Singapore Legal Entity financial integrity for P&L and Cash Flow:

• Working with GBS Accenture team to manage timely month-end group reporting and submissions.
• Preparation and review of P&L and overheads reports as well as detailed variance analysis.
• Support in providing documentation for all areas of accounting and statutory reporting.
• Preparation and distribution of monthly management pack.
• Support Finance director in providing:Review weekly excise and N30 with supply chain for timely submissions to ATO/ACS.
  Review and submission of monthly BAS (GST, PAYG, WET, FBT instalment).
  Reconciliation and reviewing FBT submission in conjunctions with KPMG.
  Quarterly tax calculation and year-end tax preparation with KPMG.
  Treasury management.
  Annual insurance renewal coordination
  

Reporting relationship

The Finance Analyst reports to the Singapore Finance Director and works closely in the capacity of a Business Partner with the commercial team and other key stake holders.
