You will be part of the pioneer team, playing the role as a financial advisor providing strategic analysis and support to valuable partners and stakeholders such as Clinical and Operational teams. You will also act as the communication link between the various stakeholders, key management, and external stakeholders to facilitate necessary discussions to allow for the successful set-up of the Hospital.

Your responsibilities include preparation and presentation of financial reports to management and timely submission of Funding Papers and Claim Statements.

You will develop Policies and Procedures and Standard Operating Procedures relating to Finance for efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance.

In addition, you will also participate in workgroups and contribute ideas for new initiatives, provide secretariat support and assist in driving projects assigned with clear project objectives, timeline and key milestones established.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Business Administration (Major in Accountancy or Finance) or equivalent
• Minimum 6 to 8 years of related working experience preferably in a healthcare setting
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Team player with the ability to build and sustain relationships with diverse set of stakeholders in a fluid environment and a growing organisation
• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills and a growth mindset
• Systematic and meticulous in work
• Adept at handling complex, ambiguous and challenging situations
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19

· Perform in-depth analysis of financial data, including but not limited to income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to identify trends, variances, and areas of concern.

· Prepare and distribute regular financial reports and dashboards for various stakeholders, summarizing key performance indicators, financial metrics, and insights.

· Creates financial models bases on analyses to support organizational decision making.

· Analyse budget-to-actual performance, investigate and explain significant variances, and recommend corrective actions when necessary.

· To create and manage financial models to support long-term planning, investment decisions, and scenario analysis.

· Develops financial plans and reports for organizational leaders.

· Analyses industry trends and makes recommendations based on those trends.

· Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts.

· Evaluate the cost-effectiveness of various projects, products, and initiatives and provide recommendations for cost-saving opportunities.

· Evaluates capital expenditures and depreciation.

· Assess financial risks and recommend strategies to mitigate those risks.

· Bonus where the candidate has an understanding on company valuation models or experience with mergers

· Perform other related duties as assigned by the Executive Chairman and/or higher Management

Job description

• Assist day-to-day Accounts Payable function which include recording of invoice and payment processing
• Ensure accuracy of invoicing entries and posting in accounting system
• Reconciliation of creditors’ statements to accounting records and investigate discrepancies, if any
• Responsible for month end closing and assist in audit process
• Ensure proper documentation / filling
• Involve in ad hoc projects as and when assigned

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Finance/Accounting or relevant Professional Accounting Qualification.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in this role.
• Experience in using Navision/ Microsoft Business Central system is preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot table, VLOOKUP, Macros is an advantage)
• Ability to work with people in different levels of the organization.
• Meticulous and keen eye for details; strong financial analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Committed, confident personality with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and as a team in a fast-paced environment.
