Job Scope:

• Responsible for finance function of Business Units in charge of Product Costing and Marketing & Licensing activities
• Responsible for costing/ pricing calculation and system setup/ maintenance
• Responsible for month-end and year-end closing activities
• Responsible for analyzing and presenting monthly financial performance with senior management team
• Responsible for annual budget preparation for Business Units
• Responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant statutory requirements/ regulations, including but not limited to statutory accounts, tax and other business filings
• Responsible for all liaising work with internal/external auditors, banks, tax agents and other statutory bodies
• Responsible for all maintenance and update of SOP for the Product Costing and Marketing & Licensing activities
• Responsible for review and continuous improvements works related to processes in Business Units
• Undertake any ad-hoc projects or activities as assigned.

Job Requirement:

• Min. Degree in accountancy/ finance/ any relevant field
• Min. 5-6 years relevant experience preferably in cost accounting

Job Scope:

• Responsible for the full spectrum of RSO finance and its activities that include financial accounting, cost and management accounting, credit control and taxation.
• Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements and reports (e.g. balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements) to management and stakeholders.
• Develop and manage the organization's budget, including forecasting revenue and expenses for the upcoming year, and making decisions about where to allocate resources to best support the organization's goals.
• Provide strategic financial guidance to management and stakeholders, by analysing the organization's financial performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement, and developing financial plans to support the organization's goals.
• Liaise with banks, external auditors, internal auditors, tax authorities and external parties as required to ensure compliance with relevant legislations, to ensure that all Bank covenants are complied on a timely basis for compliance.
• Establish and maintain the Company's internal controls, including the development and implementation of financial guidelines, policies and procedures.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in Accounting or Finance or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or a Chartered Accountant (CA).
• 5 or more years’ experience as Financial Controller/Financial Auditor with experience in Asia Pacific and the Middle East business landscape preferred, especially with strong FP&A background.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication skills, pro-active team-player who is meticulous and analytical.
• Good working knowledge of Accounting Systems and business intelligence tools will be an advantage

[What the role is]

The Finance Services Department (FSD) under the Finance Division supports the operational departments in areas of transactional accounting including but not restricted to payments, revenue, fixed assets and costing of fees and charges, etc. It maintains proper and correct accounting records ensuring the integrity of NEA’s financial records.

[What you will be working on]

As an Executive/Senior Executive in the FSD, you will be responsible for the following:

• Handle day-to-day operational matters pertaining to daily revenue collection and liaise with operational divisions.

• Process refund requests promptly.

• Perform prompt invoicing and collection of receivables within stipulated credit terms.

• Ensure payments are made accurately and on time to vendors.

• Run monthly report from Singtel and SP for Divisions' verification.

• Assist supervisor to prepare year-end audit schedules and documents requested by auditors.

• Attend to requests or enquiries from internal customers.

• Other ad hoc duties assigned by supervisors, e.g. system changes, process improvement, etc.

[What we are looking for]

• Diploma in Accountancy or related discipline or GCE “A” level with at least 16 years relevant experience.

• Background in Accounting or Finance. Experience in Accounts Receivable and/or Accounts Payable role would be an advantage.

• Comfortable to learning and applying technology in daily work (e.g. finance and operational systems).

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel.

MANAGER – FINANCE & HUMAN RESOURCES Job Description (FULL TIME)

Background:

The Company is a newly formed dynamic retailer in Singapore under a well-established Korean brand. From its three outlets in Singapore currently, its goal is to open multiple locations throughout the island. The job requires day-to-day and direct communications with the senior management. The job will require a wide variety of tasks on a project basis with other areas of the company’s businesses.

Objective:

We are looking for one enthusiastic personality who can handle a wide variety tasks of the following two areas with a minumum of 5-8 years of experiences:

(a)Finance Management Role – For this role, you will report to the CEO. You will be responsible for some routine as well as non-routine roles. Routine roles, for example, will require book keeping, accounts/bank reconciliation, payment management, supplier invoices/DO/PO reconciliation, managing outsourced accounting firms, and other finance/accounting related tasks.

(b)Human Resources Admin Role – For this role, you will report to the Executive Director of Business Development. You will be responsible for performing HR-related admin duties on a professional level in the following HR functional areas: including payroll management, CPF reporting, staff onboarding/offboarding admin, and other recruitment process management, for example.

We envision that the time spent will be split slightly more on the Finance role over the HR Admin role.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, who is just as comfortable working autonomously as with a team. This candidate should be corporate culture-focused, bringing enthusiasm to the office and offering up new ideas and programs. Excellent communications skill is a must, especially in English. Any prior experience in F&B / retail industry is welcomed.
