RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate, prepare, compile, and analyze the Annual Budget before submission to the corporate office
• Analyze financial variances and pro-actively hosts meetings with operations departments to review and discuss monthly forecast performance
• Co-relate complex data from numerous sources & formulating it into management reports
• Review a wide variety of records and involve departments to ensure data validity
• Manage SOX and internal/external audit queries
• Streamline processes and participate in ad-hoc LEAN projects

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines
• Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience in financial planning & analysis (FP&A)
• Experience in manufacturing environment is preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly in Excel & PowerBI

Job Description:

• Review and ensure all subsidiary companies within the Group accounts are closed timely for monthly closing and reporting.
• Liaise with subsidiaries to prepare monthly and yearly reporting packs to meet group reporting requirements and deadlines.
• Prepare/review Group consolidated financial reports by performing consolidation entries, eliminations, and adjustments with timely and accuracy in accordance with IFRS/Singapore FRS as well as statutory guidelines.
• Assist in arranging Board of Directors and Audit Committee's meetings.
• Perform financial planning and analytical review ("FP&A") on consolidated statements.
• Prepare and coordinate for group budget and rolling forecast.
• Assist with SGX announcements and related matters.
• Prepare annual reports, audited financial statements, and statutory reports in adherence to statutory and regulatory compliances.
• Ensure compliance with accounting, tax, listing, GST, statutory & regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with relevant professionals covering external auditors, bankers, tax agent, sponsors etc.
• Responsible for the review and update of Group policies and ongoing improvement of reporting system on a group and entity basis.
• Actively involve in digitalization in order to improve and automate finance processes to improve efficiency and enhance analytics.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy/ or another professional qualification equivalent.
• 5 years of relevant working experience with experience in group consolidation, audit, and SGX listed company preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS/SFRS and statutory legislation.
• Have good communication skills and be analytical, independent, and proactive .
• Possess positive attitude and mindset.
• Meticulous, hands on, self-motivated and committed with sense of urgency.

Responsibilities:

(Accounts)

• Responsible for full spectrum of accounting functions for a few entities
• Handle full sets of company accounts (AP, AR, GL), including monthly accounts submission.
• Perform reconciliation (bank, inter-company accounts, accounts receivable)
• Ensure accounting operations are carried out in accordance to internal accounting procedures
• Monitor AR ageing report and follow up with the collection for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities.
• Handle ad hoc assignments as and when required.

(Admin)

• Admin records update and filing
• Monthly update of loan and creating GIRO transactions
• Daily update of instalment payments and make reminder calls to overdue hirer.

The Finance Department is looking for an energetic project manager to manage and drive the successful implementation this project. He/ She will partner group finance and external outsource vendor to roll out an intelligent enterprise accounting system for better reporting, more timely information and drive value through insight that can speed up finance processes and increase efficiency. The successful candidate will oversee the project from inception to go live and postproduction support.

Fundamental to the role will be a clear understanding of ground Finance operations and use of management information, application enhancements and data analytics to drive automation of tasks for success.

Job Responsibilities

Systems Implementation to Deployment

1. Review and evaluate all the proposal for ‘replacement/new’ financial system and outsource vendor, practices, and policies of II, eliminate poor practices and implement improvements in the replacement/new system.

2. Roll-out of new financial systems including design, testing and support to staff at all levels on the implementation of new configuration specifications to align with business requirements.

3. Responsible for providing solutions for issues in the systems and ensure correct system configuration related to any change. (Involve in customization of functional specifications, proper set up of authorization matrix. Work with system vendor to discover and adapt Application Programming Interface (API)s.)

4. Collaborate with Procurement colleagues to integrate the purchase order module with procurement software.

5. Develop process documentation guidelines and standard operating policies consistent with corporate policies and end-user training and support materials.

Project Lead /Business Partnering

1. Act as a key agent/project lead towards driving transformational change to improve end to end processes within Finance.

2. Provide day-to-day administration, management, and support of the ‘replacement/new’ financial system and software. This includes developing and/or sending out ongoing communications to users regarding process and system operation. Presenting and sharing status to leadership and Heads of Departments at key milestones.

3. Work collaboratively and directly with the business units HODs to understand and translate business needs and develop appropriate solutions.

4. Address any internal audits compliance matters.

· Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, Business Analytics or equivalent

· At least 7 years of relevant experience in Finance systems project management and implementation, preferably in recent implementation, development, process re-engineering and support of Microsoft Dynamics 365 interfaces and usage of MS Office.

· Experience in Change Management

· Strong interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to work in a team environment including the ability to work collaboratively with business users, IT staff and various levels of management.

· Strong project management skills, with demonstrated ability to multi-task and to complete assigned tasks in a timely and accurate manner with limited supervision.
