Finance:

· Manage full sets of accounts

· Manage Accounts Payables and Receivables

· Bank Reconciliation

· Tax and GST filing

· Billing

· Liaising with auditors for annual audits and tax related matters

· Liaising with bankers on bank facilities and other banking related matters

· Management financial reporting

· Assist in other finance related matters as and when required

Human Resource:

· Manage and process human resource and related functions as follows:

· Process payroll including salary/allowance calculations, payroll report and bank payment.

· Recruitment and Resignation

· Staff compensation and benefits such as medical claims, allowances etc.

· File employee’s income tax returns

· Handle work permit/pass application, renewals and cancellation if required.

· Training

· Manage staff training and recruitment related grant

· Work Permit/Pass application and related administration

· Manage both staff and corporate insurance

· Prepare/updating of HR policies

· Participate and submit MOM surveys

· Assist in generating service contracts as and when required.

. Assist in ISO/BizSafe audit and documentation as and when required.

· Any other HR and general administration as and when required.

Job Requirements

· Degree or Diploma in Accountancy, HR Management or Business Admin.

· At least 3 years of experience, preferably in Events industry

· Possess excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills

· Have an eye for details

· Self-driven, positive, pro-active and highly motivated individual who is able to work independently or with minimum supervision

· Service-oriented attitude/personality

· Familiar with Singapore Labour laws and work permit/pass regulations

· Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

· Have working knowledge with Accpac Sage 300 and Timesoft payroll.

· Willing to work around Ubi Crescent vicinity

Job purpose
Process insurance quotations and ensure all necessary documents and information are submitted to insurance companies. In addition, process renewals, endorsements, cancellation and liaise with insurers on
refunding customers.

Duties and responsibilities

Insurance Quotations
- Seek quotations from Underwriter (insurance company) on insurance premium amounts to be paid for customers.
- Issue Insurance Cover Notes once insurance premium is paid.
- Attend to call-in enquiries and handling customer complaints on insurance matters.
- Respond to salespersons’ enquiries on insurance matters.

Process Motor Trade and Trade Plate
- Updating and removal of named drivers during insurance period.

Renewals and Endorsements
- Contact existing policyholders and follow-up if they would want to continue their insurance needs with CarTimes Insurance Agency before their existing insurance policies expire.
- Process endorsements on changes (eg. change of vehicle number, add named drivers, extend insurance period, etc) by liaising with insurance companies.

Cancellations
- Notify insurance companies to process refunds to customers who terminate their existing insurance policies
prematurely.

Qualifications
- Diploma holder and above
- Basic Insurance Concepts and Principles (BCP)
- Personal General Insurance (PGI)
- Commercial General Insurance (ComGl)
- Patient, meticulous and organised
- Those without prior experience may be considered
- Previous experience in similar job function would be advantageous

1. Performing financial accounting

- Oversee daily reconciliation of receipts against Daily Operation summary / bank statements / credit card statements, etc of various outlets

- Prepare and submit daily POS sales and monthly GTO reports to respective landlords on a timely basis

- Oversee GTO audit at year end

- Oversee bank reconciliation statements for all bank accounts

- Apply customers’ payment in Netsuite

- Prepare monthly cashflow statement

2. Supporting statutory reporting filing

- Assist in statutory audit and corporate tax computation

3. Affording general administrative and clerical support

- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned

- Manage the supplies and distribution of stationery inventory to outlets.

Pre-Requisites

- Minimum Diploma in Accounting or Related Fields

- Minimum 1 to 3 years’ Accounts Receivable experience in the retail industry preferred though not mandatory

- Well versed in Microsoft Office
