• Manage the Month-end Close process for Singapore in accordance with the GSK Finance Manual and provide timely financial analysis.

• Support in Planning activities for GCI region & Singapore LOC including MYQ, LQE, Plan, Flip, Latest estimates & Rollover. Support in presentations, offline templates as well as ad hoc analysis for Planning Cycle.
• Support CCC process from Finance for GCI & Singapore including reviewing monthly CCC for markets and preparing gap analysis.
• Support MPR process for region reviews with Segment every month with necessary analytics as required by Finance Director and VP, Finance.

• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies, while identifying and mitigating potential risks in the O2C process. Work closely with OpCos, Finance team and other relevant departments to establish policies for process compliance management. Manage end to end change management process to implement and drive adoption of policies and work with OpCo’s operation managers to audit process compliance and implement counter measures.
• Technology Integration: Evaluate, implement, and optimize Order to Cash technologies and systems to support automation and improve overall efficiency. Be the catalyst of digital transformation in the organization through new solution testing and planning for DX initiatives to reduce operational cost and overhead. Support DX initiatives within Finance department and help OpCos to implement automation solution by utilizing Power Platform to improve process efficiency and team productivity. Work closely with ICT to ensure security compliance of cloud solution adoption and review proposed solution implemented by OpCos to mitigate security risk.
• Customer Satisfaction: Focus on enhancing customer satisfaction by ensuring timely and accurate order fulfilment, billing, and collection processes.
• Reporting and Analysis: Generate regular reports and provide insights into O2C performance, contributing to strategic decision-making at the executive level. Oversee all aspects of performance metrics management for order to cash processes. Primarily responsible for maintaining and delivering timely performance metrics report to OpCo’s MDs, CFOs and operational managers. Improve efficiency and performance metric visibility through continuous innovation using Power BI and to reduce cost and overhead in OpCos. Communicate response timely and effectively to enquiry from OpCo CFOs, operational managers, BPO service delivery team and other stakeholders within the organization.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications, skills and experiences:

• Min 5 years working experience as business process analyst or as data analyst with proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform and excellent problem-solving skill to lead process improvement and transformation in Order to Cash or Contract to Billing domain
• Have extensive experience and strong understanding of Order to Cash and Contract to Bill processes
• Strong knowledge of finance, billing and accounting is required
• Have experience in digital transformation process management and implementing process automation using Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, Power Virtual Agent)
• Extensive experience in big data analytic or business intelligent application such as Power BI
• Extensive experience in data collection, data analysis and metric reporting
• Have experience in implementing ERP system (Oracle, D365) or knowledge of F&O module of D365 is a plus
• Knowledge of leasing business processes is a plus
• Strong technology, proven analytical, conceptualization and problem-solving skill
• Experience in managing stakeholder expectation with good influencing & negotiating skills
• Have extensive experience working in multi cultures and regional setting
• Have experience in process mapping and business process reengineering is required

Job Responsibilities

• Support the Finance Director in overseeing the Company’s account by ensuring the accounting records are recorded timely and accurately.
• Support the Finance Director in treasury activities like banking, cash flow management and fx hedging activities.
• Working with the team to ensure records are entered into systems correctly, payments are prepared to the right vendor and with proper approvals.
• Ensure month end processes are processed timely and accurately (Inventory closing, tally of sub-ledger to General Ledger).
• In charge of General Ledger & Fixed Assets module and ensure that monthly entries are recorded completely, accurately and timely monthly for closing of accounts.
• Preparing of monthly management reports
• Preparing yearly budget & quarterly forecast
• Preparing of monthly bank reconciliation and balance sheets schedules and follow up on outstanding matters reflecting in the bank reconciliation and balance sheets schedule.
• Ensuring that internal controls are adhere, identifying weakness in internal control and implementing new processes & procedures to improve internal control.
• Ensuring the Singapore statutory accounting and financial management are in compliance to the local regulations.
• Ongoing liaison with auditors to ensure that the statutory reports are reported timely and in compliance with local reporting standards.
• In charge of all tax filing (GST, corporate tax) & update to EDB
• Working closely with the Operation team to ensure that they have completed all jobs for month end closing.

Work Experience & Qualification

• Diploma/Degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Qualified accountant with ACCA, CIMA, Singapore CPA or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Eight years or above of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Good exposure to accounting systems or ERP system, prior experience in Microsoft D365 & IBM Cognos Systems would be an advantage.
• Proficient in analysing financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
• Possess proven ability to set-up and/or oversee all financial and operational controls and metrics.
• Implement stable cash flow management, forecasting and treasury policies and procedures.
• Experience in managing cash flow, working capital, taxes, transfer pricing, risk management and insurances, budget, and general accounting.
• Conversant with the local regulatory environment related to the business including any finance, accounting, and tax requirements and advise senior management the business implication of any regulatory requirement.
• Provide counsel to the Finance Director concerning local regulations
• Strong interpersonal and management skills; able to communicate clearly with upper management and internal contacts.
• Possess proven ability to build and lead a team.
