• Reports directly to Deposits & Payments Business Team Lead
• Responsible for supporting analysis requirements for the Deposits & Payments Business Team
• Analyse large datasets to identify key business levers and opportunities, understand consumer behaviour, and investigate portfolio trends and observations
• Drive visibility into product performance by defining and monitoring key business metrics
• Design, build and maintain useful simulations, dashboards, data tables, and reports to enable data-self serve for the Deposits & Payments Business Team
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Business Intelligence, Product Managers, etc.) to analyse marketing performance based on initiatives (e.g. campaign performance tracking and A/B testing)
• Develop insights and identify new product development opportunities based on customer behaviour (including new data products to provide customers with data insights)
• Communicate and present insights to key stakeholders and senior management

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, or related field
• Possess at least 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience as a data or business analyst, or related field
• Highly proficient in using SQL, Python, Excel, and BI tools
• Strong in data analysis, data exploration, data visualisation, and data reporting
• Able to demonstrate structural thinking, problem-solving, and have strong logical reasoning skills
• Able to work with large datasets and ambiguous data
• Highly collaborative and analytical individual with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Highly passionate, have a strong sense of responsibility, and able to work independently with minimal supervision

• Advisory on SG regulations to SG Business Units (Deposits, Loans, Investments, Marketing, and Operations) for new product and system launches, as well as on BAU basis after each launch
• Manage compliance risks and uphold compliance with SG regulations for all functions throughout the bank
• Participate in system configuration discussions and UAT (including reviewing business SOPs)
• Highlight new regulations and regulatory expectations to various business and corporate functions and senior management, and help operationalize, where necessary
• Perform assessments on regulatory escalations and make recommendations for remediation measures
• Conduct Key Obligation Register exercise covering Business and Support Units
• Establish SG-wide assurance guidelines, drawing from higher risk areas based on internal risk reviews and assessments
• Perform assurance testing, identifying any compliance gaps in business processes and workflows, and make recommendations for remediation measures
• Monitor remediation plans for completed compliance tests
• Assist to prepare any relevant materials for training and management reporting purposes

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accountancy, Banking or Business equivalent
• 7-12 years of relevant experience in the space of regulatory compliance, including Anti-Money Laundering, consumer/corporate/investment products, operational risk management, technology risk management, and preferably with Banks, Financial Institutions, or reputable consulting firms
• Relevant regulatory compliance experience to support retail products such as unsecured facilities, credit card, personal wealth investment and insurance is a plus
• Good project management and problem-solving abilities with an eye for detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpretation of laws and regulations
• Able to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Builder mindset, proactive, and a can-do attitude

Responsibilities

· Ensure timely and accurate completion of monthly financial statements and management reports

· Monitor accounts transactions, checking, verification and follow up.

· Handle data entry for all account transaction including Account Receivable (AR), Account Payable (AP) & General Ledger (GL).

· Handle staff claims, petty cash, payment vouchers.

· Maintain and update filing, inventory, mailing, and database systems for account.

· Handle Intergroup transactions, reconciliation, and confirmation.

· Liaise with intergroup companies, banks, auditors, and tax agent for finance-related matters.

· Assist in financial reporting, analyzing financial data, and presenting findings.

· Compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

· Perform any other duties commensurate with the accountabilities of the post and/or as assigned by the superior.

Requirements

· Polytechnic Diploma / LCCI Diploma in Accounting or equivalent in related field required.

· 6 months (24 weeks) contract, may renew or convert (depending on performance/business needs)

· Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

· Highly organized and detail-oriented.

· Demonstrate creative and critical thinking skills.

· Able to communicate in Chinese & English (both written and verbal).
