Your mission is to make Globesend the preferred choice of cross-border payments for individuals and SME globally. As a business project manager, you will play a pivotal role in steering Globesend’s success. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team to detail, plan, and execute the business project to deliver innovative products and services on time. These offerings will be key to achieving our mission of making Globesend the preferred platform for convenient, fast and secure global money transfers.
Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Management:Create comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
Identify risks and escalate issues that impact scope, time, cost, quality, and benefits in a timely manner.
Maintain a task tracker and oversee project execution to meet deadlines.
Use project management tools like Jira, Confluence, and Gantt charts to create, track, and manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Governance and Progress Tracking:Establish and manage project governance structures, including cadence for key meetings such as: Project Steering Committee (PSC), Execution stand-ups and other stakeholder alignment forums.
Organise and facilitate weekly, fortnightly & monthly project cadences, including preparation of agendas and minutes of meetings.
Monitor progress and escalate roadblocks as needed.
Prepare periodic progress reports for stakeholders.
Work with the GlobeSend country teams to ensure that the business progress is reviewed regularly and compared against plan and key GlobeSend initiatives are tracked closely for delivery.
- Communication and Stakeholder Management:Develop and execute a project communication plan to keep stakeholders informed and aligned.
Act as a liaison between internal teams (e.g., sales, compliance, tech, marketing) and external partners.
Ensure alignment across country and regional teams on project goals.
Create high-quality presentation decks for project updates, including for senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Confluence)
