• We are seeking a Finance Associate to support the Manager/Assistant Manager in the Revenue Section during maternity leave. The ideal candidate will handle a high volume of transactions and ensure timely and accurate billing of fees and charges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prompt billing of fees and charges.
• Monthly rental reconciliation and utility report generation.
• Verification of utility consumption before bill runs.
• Month-end closing activities, including preparation of relevant journals to ensure compliance with FRS and financial policies.
• Liaising with external customers and internal staff on operational matters.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Accountancy, Business, Finance, or equivalent
• Min 2-3 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Proficient in reconciliation processes and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in SAP is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Keep track and adhere to financial reporting guidelines.
• Prepare financial statements.
• Prepare and evaluate annual budget.
• Perform budgetary controls and manage arrears.
• Ensure precise transaction recording and strong financial controls.
• Oversee grants, asset management, inter-funds transfers, and tax reporting duties within the team.

Requirements:

• Candidates should bring along a Degree in Accountancy or any equivalent professional qualifications (e.g. ACCA)
• Possess at least 5 years of experience within the accounting function.
• Possess at least 3 years of managing staff experience.
• Able to work independently and as a team player.
• Comfortable in managing tight deadlines.
• Able to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Work Week: 5.25 (Alternate Saturday half day)
• Working location: West
