SAP Finance Consultant

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with F&B clients to understand their business processes and requirements related to Controlling.
• Identify opportunities to optimize processes and leverage SAP CO functionalities to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Design and implement SAP CO solutions tailored to the specific needs of F&B clients, considering industry-specific challenges and best practices.
• Configure key CO modules, including:
• Product Costing
• Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)
• Overhead Costing
• Oversee the migration of master data and transactional data from legacy systems to S/4 HANA.
• Ensure seamless integration of CO with other modules like FI, MM, SD, and PP.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate the functionality and performance of the CO solution.
• Support the go-live phase, including user training and cutover activities.
• Provide ongoing post-implementation support, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and system enhancements.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in SAP CO consulting.
• Proven expertise in SAP CO modules, including Product Costing, Profitability Analysis, Overhead Costing, and Period-End Closing.
• In-depth understanding of CO concepts, such as cost element accounting, activity-based costing, and variance analysis.
• Proficiency in SAP S/4 HANA configuration and customization.
• Experience with ABAP programming (preferred).
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori and UI5.

What this job involves:

Managing financial operations

As a Finance Account Officer, you'll be responsible for overseeing critical financial operations. You'll maintain accounting and control procedures in line with client's policies, prepare annual budgets, monitor budget utilisation, and provide variance analysis. Your role will be crucial in managing the collection of maintenance and sinking funds, as well as ensuring timely processing and payment of vendor invoices.

Handling accounts receivable and payable

You'll be responsible for the timely processing and posting of invoices for quarterly maintenance contributions, annual berthing, and license fees. This includes generating accurate customer invoices, monitoring outstanding debts, and updating payments promptly. On the accounts payable side, you'll verify invoice accuracy, ensure proper coding, and submit payments for approval according to client's procurement and payment policies.

Financial reporting and analysis

A key aspect of your role will be preparing various financial reports, including Profit and Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, and Accounts Receivable/Payable Aging Reports.
