SCOPE OF THE ROLE

You will be responsible for the end-to-end software development and support for all work related to projects, quarterly change requests, L3 production fixes. This includes software product implementation and administration, application design, development, implementation, testing and support.

You will also be responsible for quality assurance of the team’s delivery in conformance with the Bank-defined software delivery methodology and tools. You will partner with other technology functions to help deliver required technology solutions.

Other responsibilities include:

- Create frameworks, technical features which helps in faster operationalisation of Data models, Analytical models(including AI/ML) and user generated contents (dashboards, reports etc)

- Effectively partner with data scientists in enabling faster adoption of AL/ML model based systems

- Independently install, customise and integrate software packages and programs

- Carry out POCs involving new data technologies

- Design and develop application frameworks for data integration

- Create technical documents such as solution design, program specifications for target solutions

- Perform design and development of applications which may not be limited to: Software Applications, Data Integration, User Interfaces, Automation

- Maintain and recommend software improvements to ensure a platform centric management of software applications

- Performance tuning

- Work with production support team members to conduct root cause analysis of issues, review new and existing code and/or perform unit testing

- Perform tasks as part of a cross functional development team using agile or other methodologies and utilising project management software

Technical skillsets

TEAM Architecture (Big Data)

- 8+ years of experience with application development in Big Data Ecosystem (such as Cloudera, ElasticSearch, Spark, Presto, Hive, Impala, Kibana, Logstash, Hbase, Kafka),

- Expertise in building applications using Java, Scala, Python, Shell scripting

- Experience in large scale implementations and performance optimizations in the Big Data Ecosystem using Spark, Hive, Impala, Apache Kudu, Ozone, Presto, Tez, Iceberg etc

- Knowledge of frameworks such as Spring, Struts, Hibernate etc

- Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming, Multi-threading, Containerization, etc

- Knowledge of related technologies such as HTML, Javascript, CSS, React, Jquery, node.js, docker

Scope Overview:

• Support the Enterprise Risk Management Framework and respective risk policies that create values for the various stakeholders and achieve the company’s aspirations and strategies.
• Developing risk appetite statements, setting limits against solvency and other risk appetite dimensions.
• Supporting the Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA) and preparation of ORSA report for presentation and submission to various parties including MAS.
• Monitoring insurance and financial risk exposure against risk appetite with the use of key risk indicators and other risk measures
• Partnering key business stakeholders in identifying and assessing risks and controls, including financial, operational and insurance risks.
• Contributing in cross functional teams to investigate and manage current and emerging risk in areas such as claims, reserving and reinsurance
• Contribute to derivative strategy that is embarked by the company to reduce the volatility in the financials.
• Contribute to detailed product risk assessment from product pricing perspective in order to ensure the financials remain within the acceptable range in different scenarios being tested.
• Contribute in the yearly Strategic Asset Allocation and Tactical Asset Allocation review to better adapt to the evolving economy and industry.
• Create and promote risk awareness culture across the organisation and establish stakeholders’ (business partners) ownership and accountabilities in risk management activities.

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of experience with a Bachelors' degree in Actuarial Science or any other relevant disciplines.
• Candidates with relevant experience in prophet or valuation, SAS, R, or any data modelling software will have a distinct advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and the use of VBA.
• Self-starter who is driven by targets and possesses excellent interpersonal communication skill with an entrepreneurial mind-set.

Responsibilities

Your Role:

• Support and work closely with Coverage Banking Relationship Managers (RMs) in Singapore/ Mumbai
• Support RMs on client pitch books, Account planning, preparation for client meetings, research on special projects
• Perform account opening/closing, new client on-boarding (including KYC) & loan pricing/profitability simulations
• Assist and manage client’s ongoing activities and enquiries on accounts and transactions
• Conduct research/analysis and prepare documentations and reports (such as company profile, briefing notes, presentations and etc.)
• Coordinate with other departments of the Bank to ensure seamless delivery to client requirements
• Perform basic financial spreading for credit rating purposes

The Credit Analyst reports functionally to the Credit Manager of Regional Real Asset Infrastructure APAC and locally to the Co-Head of Real Asset Infrastructure APAC, based in Singapore, with the following responsibilities:
