Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Finance, Mathematics or related discipline
• Professional certification such as FRM, PRM, and CFA and experience with asset management will be advantageous
• Relevant experiences in market risk management within Banking
• Well versed in Treasury products & Derivatives, multiple asset classes and business lines
• Experience with IRRBB, VBA and strong Excel skills is preferred
• Strong communication & stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

• Book-keeping of securities investments
• Timely update of Fixed Deposit register / schedule and book-keeping of Fixed Deposit (including placement / renewal / withdrawal) and monthly accrued interest
• Update daily regulatory ratio calculation file
• To handle Staff claim
• Update weekly cash balances of (including in-house securities investments)
• Assist to check daily collection of various types of revenue and daily funding and unwinding amount
• Monthly wrap fee and management fee payout
• Assist to do testing and new system/module related to finance
• Yearly archive of documents
• Ad-hoc financial matters that may assign from time to time

Requirements

• LCCI/Diploma in Accounting or equivalent
• Proficient in Microsoft Office

Finance and Operations Coordinator (Trade Finance - Agriculture)

Key Responsibilities:

• Support routine paperwork and documentation, performing day-to-day accounting functions
• Check the validity of documents received from vendors
• Prepare documents to be provided to customers
• Supervise data and ensure compliance with business processes
• Coordinate closely with other departments
• Handle monthly closing of a full set of accounts
• Manage and provide accurate monthly bank reconciliations, maintaining journals, general ledger, P&L, and balance sheets
• Prepare and submit monthly tax filings
• Oversee all accounting and taxation responsibilities for the legal entity
• Manage letters of credit, bills of lading, and other trade finance documents
• Coordinate with banks and vendors to facilitate international transactions
• Assist with employee onboarding, benefits administration, and HR record-keeping
• Provide general administrative support to the management team

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar finance or operations role, preferably in the agriculture or logistics industry
• Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and trade finance processes
• Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office applications
• Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
• Capable of reading and writing in Chinese, able to communicate with Chinese stakeholders
