Roles and Responsibilities
Finance:

• Handle day-to-day operational transactions, including data entry and bookkeeping into the accounting system, and complete the posting process for accounts payable and receivable

• Oversee all financial control activities, including the review and analysis of monthly and quarterly numbers and disclosures in accordance with SFRS 115.
• Manage statutory audit and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Work with Country CEO/COO and across departments to engage HODs and teams to prepare and review financial budgets.
• Work with the Credit Control Manager to manage the Credit Control function and the robustness and integrity of its processes.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting/Finance or ACCA.
• Min 8 years of relevant working experience.
• Experience in leading a team.
• Good understanding of SFRS(I) requirements and familiarity with financial and management reporting.

Working Hours: Mon-Fri 9am - 6pm

As a Finance Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our company. Your responsibilities will include:

• Keeping Accurate Records: Recording daily transactions meticulously.
• Preparing Balance Sheets: Ensuring accurate financial statements.
• Processing Invoices: Managing accounts payable and receivable.
• Updating Internal Systems: Inputting financial data.
• Generating Reports: Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Reconciling Bank Statements: Ensuring accuracy in financial records.
• Assisting with Budget Preparation: Collaborating on financial planning.

Requirements and Skills:

• Proven work experience as a Finance Officer or in a similar role.
• Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures.
• Experience using financial software such as QBO or Xero.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Familiarity with financial regulations.
• Excellent analytical and numerical abilities.
• Strong time management skills.
• Ethical handling of confidential data.

Education Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics. Professional qualifications such as CPA is a plus. Renumeration will commensurate with experience.
