REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 5 years’ experience handling Marine Cargo/Marine Hull/Freight Forwarders/Bailees Liability
• Knowledge of Marine insurance processes and policy wordings would be advantageous

• Possess at least the certificate in General Insurance (CGI) or any other equivalent qualifications ie AAII, ACII

Job Description

1. Plan and organize regular visitations of brokers/clients to develop rapport.
2. Responsible for review and improvement of profitability of brokers’ portfolio assigned.
3. Analyse and underwrite business offers including the preparation of quotations via emails and faxes and undertake survey of risks when required.
4. Liaise with brokers/clients on enquiries, renewals, endorsements etc.
5. To analyze the premium income for each month with reasons for increase/decrease of premiums for department reporting.
6. To undertake risk surveys, if required.
7. To quote in accordance with the Company’s underwriting guidelines.
8. To assist accounts department in premium collection including fronting policies.
9. Other duties that are assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

1. Diploma/Degree holder or ACII/AAII qualifications and equivalent preferred;
2. At least with CGI/HI or relevant insurance qualification;
3. Preferabley with at least 2/3 years of relevant experience;
4. Possess good interpersonal and communications skills;
5. Able to multi-task, and is a team player;
6. Able to work independently and interact with different levels of customers;
7. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office application.

Job Description:

Project Master Data Creation & Maintenance

• Create and maintain SAP master data for grants and funds (e.g. WBS, fund, cost centre) in a timely manner upon request from stakeholders and in accordance with SOPs.
• Verify the completeness and accuracy of supporting documents provided by stakeholders.
• Liaise with stakeholders to resolve any discrepancies in master data or documentation.
• Perform closing and re-opening of project codes timely as required to facilitate operations.
• Perform checks on master data, flagging exceptions for follow-up and resolution.
• Ensure projects/grants documentation (e.g. Letter of Awards, variation approvals) are well organised and maintained.

Management Reporting

• Prepare monthly management reports to research and supporting entities.
• Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analysis as requested by management.
• Undertake additional ad hoc tasks as required.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelors in Accountancy or Finance with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
• Experience in audit or FP&A is advantageous
• Proficiency in MS Office application
• Meticulous, organised and possess good communication skills
