Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management and a proven track record of working in multinational corporation. This role is critical to ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and strategic financial planning to support the company’s growth objectives.
Responsibilities:
1. Financial Management and Reporting
• Oversee the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and management reports.
• Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance to provide actionable insights to senior management.
2. Budgeting and Forecasting
• Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting.
• Track budget performance and recommend adjustments to align with business objectives.
3. Compliance and Risk Management
• Ensure adherence to all financial regulations and company policies.
• Identify financial risks and implement effective internal controls to mitigate them.
4. Strategic Financial Planning
• Support strategic decision-making by providing financial analysis and feasibility studies.
• Partner with other departments to optimize resource allocation and cost management.
• Liaise with government agencies and stakeholders to ensure compliance and alignment with public-sector expectations.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA, CFA, or an equivalent professional qualification is preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience in financial management, including a minimum of 5 years in the petrochemical, manufacturing or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
• Expertise in financial operations within China and cross-border transactions, with a strong emphasis on collaboration with the headquarters in China.
• Proficiency in SAP financial software and ERP systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in both written and verbal communication in English and Mandarin, enabling effective collaboration with native Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and comprehension of Chinese-language documents.
