Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with at least 8-12 years of relevant experience.
• Sound knowledge of private banking products and solutions as well as deep expertise of the European Market and relevant networks.
• Good understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong client centricity.
• Team player with the ability to collaborate widely with various internal stakeholders to drive client acquisition and retention.

The Role

In this role, you will lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals in Singapore, ensuring the smooth and accurate execution of daily accounting operations. You will be responsible for delivering timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with IFRS, tax, and GST regulations. Key responsibilities include preparing estimates, budgets, and annual reports, managing year-end audits, overseeing cash flow, and maintaining robust internal controls. Additionally, you will act as a liaise with local external auditors to ensure alignment and compliance.

Your Profile

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with CPA or ACCA certifications being an advantage. Prior experience in an auditing firm is a must with commercial experience in financial management with solid analytical skills, thorough understanding of financial reporting standards and coupled with people leadership experience. Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP experience are essential. There is also an emphasis on having the ability to engage in constructive and challenging discussions with the leadership team, solid people management skills and a collaborative approach with commercial leaders. Job Description

Responsible for the compliance of AML/CFT, Data Protection and Complaint matters of Private Banking Departments:

1. Conduct client on-boarding due diligence assessment and verification of on-boarding documents.

2. Conduct periodic KYC review and trigger KYC review of existing clients.

3. Review on-going screening hits and financial in/out flow of accounts.

4. Review client instruction to update non-financial related information or to request for additional services.

5 Attend to requests or queries from PB front office, Legal and Compliance Department, Internal Auditors and External Auditors on business compliance related matters.

6. Handle client complaints, data protection reporting and other regulatory related reporting to the 2nd line departments.

7.Maintain up to date PB procedures, forms and templates related to business compliance functions.

8. Conduct quarterly AML training and new staff training.

Job Requirements

1. 3-5 years relevant experience in AML/KYC compliance functions in Private banking or wealth management industry.

2. Familiar with local and international regulations related to compliance functions (e.g. MAS Notice 626, CRS, PDPA, PB Code of Conduct and MAS Guidelines on PB Controls).

3. Experience in complaint handling, review of counterparties and investment suitability framework is good to have.
