As a trusted partner, you will be responsible for providing an independent credit risk evaluation of SMBC credit assets in Asia Pacific region. • Conduct continuous credit reviews of individual borrowers on an ongoing basis, to assess the appropriateness of risk ratings of Obligor Grade and classification of Borrower’s Category for the Bank’s credit assets booked in Asia Pacific, ensuring adherence to internal grading policies.
• To participate as a team member (‘Person in charge’) for assigned On-site credit reviews and / or Thematic review assignments. • Provide value-added recommendations to Business Units (BUs) based on potential issues identified in all credit reviews.
• Follow-up on open issues identified and conduct validation review on remediation actions taken by auditee, in accordance with IADAP CRG recommendations and address BUs’ concerns accordingly.
• Continuously monitor and update IADAP CRG and local branch management on regulatory changes or market conditions for new and emerging risks in the respective audit locations.
• Continuously review and propose improvement to IADAP CRG’s review process to ensure adequacy and efficiency of the controls in place against market practice.
• Participate in department-wide initiatives and perform other duties as assigned by Department Head.

Requirements:-

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent is preferred.

• Industrial certification: CCDE, CCIE (R&S or Security), CCNP or CCNSP, and ITIL.
• In-depth technical experience and proficiency in deploying network system(s) implementation for large enterprise and data center routing switching environments.
• Hands-on experience in implementation and setup of high-availability, multi-layer datacenter networks, Internet Gateway, VPN, ISE
• Experienced in Cisco Router and Switches (ASR, ISR, Nexus, Catalyst), advance IP routing and switching technologies, particularly BGP, SDWAN, OSPF, PBR, QOS, VRRP, VPC and VXLAN.
• Experienced in Firewalls (Cisco, Checkpoint, Fortinet and Palo Alto), Load balancers (F5).
• Proficient in technical report writing and documentation.
• Knowledge and experience in IT Service Management (ITSM) would be valuable.
• Prior working experience as an IT professional in banking or financial institution is an advantage. Knowledge of industry technology trends
