[What you will be working on]
This role will be responsible for orchestrating financial compliance, analysis and budgeting, procurement and business partnering for EDB’s overseas operations, and being involved in procurement and financial system management, migration and enhancement projects.  Candidate will also be required to be familiar with incentive guidelines administered by the EDB as well as knowledge in Enterprise Risk Management. 

Key responsibilities will include:

• Communicating with senior executives, Finance personnel, researchers and lead engineers to ascertain the status of financial incentives awarded to companies.

• Assessing the achievement of incentives conditions with on-site visit and documents review.

• Reviewing claims submitted by companies, for compliance with guidelines and award letters.

Your day-to-day role

1. Analysis and Monthly reporting

• Assist the business controller for month-end closing tasks: review of accruals, monthly reporting to HQ, region or local management
• Assist in preparing the P&L by country/channel/door to aid the strategic distribution decisions
• Work with the controller and sales team to analyse the effectiveness of promotional campaigns
• Work with the local markets to understand and analyse the key drivers of growth and risks vs. last year and last forecast

2. Forecast/Budget Preparation

• Help in data collection and consolidation of forecasting information
• Assist the business controller in consolidated package reporting for global/regional purpose
• Perform in-depth analysis on appropriate focus for the business (trend per door, sales seasonality, stock-holding, profitability by channel…)

3. Data Analysis 

• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports

- Managing company’s fleet insurance and update database accordingly

- Advise clients on insurance quotations, policy processing and all other motor insurance matters.
