[What the role is]

The Finance Services Department (FSD) under the Finance Division supports the operational departments in areas of transactional accounting including but not restricted to payments, revenue, fixed assets and costing of fees and charges, etc. It maintains proper and correct accounting records ensuring the integrity of NEA’s financial records.

[What you will be working on]

As an Executive/Senior Executive in the FSD, you will be responsible for the following:

• Handle day-to-day operational matters pertaining to daily revenue collection and liaise with operational divisions.

• Process refund requests promptly.

• Perform prompt invoicing and collection of receivables within stipulated credit terms.

• Ensure payments are made accurately and on time to vendors.

• Run monthly report from Singtel and SP for Divisions' verification.

• Assist supervisor to prepare year-end audit schedules and documents requested by auditors.

• Attend to requests or enquiries from internal customers.

• Other ad hoc duties assigned by supervisors, e.g. system changes, process improvement, etc.

[What we are looking for]

• Diploma in Accountancy or related discipline or GCE “A” level with at least 16 years relevant experience.

• Background in Accounting or Finance. Experience in Accounts Receivable and/or Accounts Payable role would be an advantage.

• Comfortable to learning and applying technology in daily work (e.g. finance and operational systems).

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel.

• Meticulous with an eye for detail.

• Able to work independently and effectively as a team.

• Able to work in a fast-paced and highly volatile environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time.

About the Role Lead the data and analytics deliverables for the Digital Payments team - including Paylah!, Local and Overseas Payments. The role will require you to engage in discussions around - gathering request requirements, structuring anaysis approach and sharing of the results to senior management in a clear and concise way. You will also be responsible to identify opportunities for business growth and help business meet their KPIs through use of analytical insights and AI. This team is responsible to deliver on data related requests including deepdive analysis and develop Control Towers. Your role is also crucial as a subject matter expert to drive adoption of Control Towers for decision making and promote learning through experiments. Responsibilities: Understand consumer Payment products in DBS including -Paylah!, Paynow, cashless adoption and Overseas Payment. Understand various aspects of payment products and the processes involved - types of payment methods, channels, transaction types, etc. Understand customer engagement methods - prospecting, click through journey, portfolio management, etc Utilize Data Driven Operation Model (DDOM) to maximize value from data and drive business impact with product partners Drive cognitive and automated banking initiatives through Machine learning models development and automation of control towers Identify key trends, provide insights on performance & causality and identify opportunities to deepen customer engagement Drive deeper understanding of consumer needs and preferences Analyse customer behaviour and help design campaigns/experiments to drive customer engagement and marketing effectiveness Partner with stakeholders and build strong rapport. Collaborate widely to drive actions and realise impact Able to influence decision-making through clear story-telling; Simplify complex concepts and deliver the ideas in a clear and concise manner. Requirements Bachelor's degree (or higher) with a minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in data analytics and business intelligence, with several years of experience in managing data analytics product delivery Strong analytical and problem solving skills; Highly numerate with keen eye for details and accuracy; Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; Ability to explain complex concepts with simplicity. Strong ability to present and communicate to senior management; Well versed with data analytics techniques like predictive, prescriptive, ML and AI.
